Quick solution to mouth blisters

Everyone's physical condition and constitution are different. When the seasons change, or when there is inflammation or a lack of some vitamins in the body, some people will develop blisters at the corners of their mouths. When blisters appear at the corners of the mouth, it will not only affect the beauty of the face, but also cause a burning pain in the affected area. When the symptoms become severe, it will affect opening the mouth to speak and eat.

Aloe vera gel + hot compress

If the blistering at the corners of your mouth is severe, you can apply some natural aloe vera gel, which has a very obvious bactericidal effect. For some patients who experience itching, pain and other symptoms at the blisters, applying aloe vera gel will give a cooling sensation, which is very effective in alleviating these uncomfortable symptoms. Usually after applying it for a period of time, the pain of the blisters can be greatly improved. Applying it a few more times can eliminate the symptoms. Or you can use hot compress method before going to bed at night, and apply a hot towel to the blisters on your mouth. This method can effectively reduce mild redness and swelling. Hot compress can also speed up blood circulation near the mouth, helping blisters dissipate as quickly as possible.

Honey + Vitamin C Tablets

Honey has the effect of moisturizing, hydrating and nourishing the skin. Especially in dry seasons, applying honey frequently can moisturize the skin and prevent dryness. You can crush vitamin B2 and vitamin C tablets into powder, mix with honey and apply to the cracks.

Cod liver oil

If blisters appear at the corners of your mouth, you can pierce the mouth with cod liver oil, squeeze out the oil and apply it to the sore corners of your mouth. You can also crush the vitamin B2 and grind it into powder and sprinkle it on the affected area. If you are lacking in vitamin B2 and cod liver oil pills, you can also use the overflow water from steamed rice or persimmon cream to treat it. Apply them to the affected area twice a day and it can also be cured.

Erythromycin eye ointment

If you have blisters at the corners of your mouth, you can also use erythromycin eye ointment to wipe the blisters. Erythromycin ointment has bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effects, the effect is very good, with few side effects and is cheap. Apply 3-5 times a day, and the condition will generally improve in about 3 days.

Drug treatment of blisters at the corners of the mouth may also be oral herpes. There is a burning sensation at the beginning, followed by clustering blisters, erosion, and scabs. The course of the disease is about one week and may relapse. Needle-head-sized blisters often appear on the oral mucosa, usually in a group, but sometimes in two or three groups. There is a mild burning sensation, which may "heal on its own" or "recur" in about a week. If the blisters at the corners of the mouth are caused by herpes labialis, the following medications should be used for treatment.

1. General antiviral drugs, such as ribavirin and virulin, can be used to treat herpes simplex, but acyclovir is the most effective among them. Because acyclovir has a special affinity for viruses, it is easily taken up by the herpes virus and triggers a chemical reaction inside the virus, thereby inhibiting viral replication. In the early stages of blisters at the corners of the mouth, applying acyclovir eye ointment twice a day can have a good auxiliary treatment effect.

2. Apply 5% acyclovir ointment or 0.1% herpes cream externally, and apply it alternately with piyanping ointment for better results. If there is infection, add chloramphenicol ointment.

2. Ribavirin injection (viravirin) wet compress: Use medical cotton balls or cotton swabs, or a small piece of gauze to soak in ribavirin injection and apply it to the affected area for 15 minutes each time, 3 to 5 times a day.

4. Take Chinese medicine for clearing heat and detoxifying, such as Niuhuang Jiedu Tablets, Xiaoyan Jiedu Pills, etc. orally.
