What to do if you have toothache after giving birth

Many women experience toothache after giving birth. However, after giving birth, mothers need to breastfeed, so during this period, mothers cannot take medicine at will, because this will affect the physical health of the newborn. However, if a new mother really has unbearable toothache, she can relieve the toothache through effective methods such as biting a piece of ginger, frequently tapping her teeth, rinsing her mouth with tea, rubbing acupoints, and frequently changing toothbrushes and toothpaste.

1. Bite a piece of ginger

If you have ginger, cut a small piece of ginger and place it on the surface of the aching tooth. Bite it tightly. When you feel a spicy sensation in your mouth, the toothache will no longer occur. If there are no ginger slices, put a few grains of MSG or garlic and bite on the painful tooth surface and bite hard, which can also significantly relieve toothache.

2. Frequent tooth tapping

Tap your teeth frequently. This is not only helpful when you have toothache, but also can prevent toothache. Teeth clicking can not only make your teeth stronger, but also exercise your brain, making you smarter and preventing brain aging. When you are old, you can still maintain an agile mind.

3. Rinse your mouth with tea

If your tooth still hurts after using the above two methods, please hold a mouthful of tea in your mouth and spit it out after a few minutes, and the tooth will no longer hurt. If you spit it out and hold it in your mouth several times, the effect will certainly be better. You can also gargle with salt water, which is just as effective, but be careful not to accidentally drink it, as it will be quite salty.

4. Massage acupoints

In addition to tapping your teeth, please remember an acupoint that is very easy to find. It is located in the depression below and behind the ear (Tianzhu Point). Gently rub the acupoint where your tooth hurts. You will feel soreness and numbness as you rub it, and after a while the toothache will go away.

5. Change your toothbrush and toothpaste frequently

You should replace your toothbrush every month. If you use your toothbrush for too long, it will become deformed, which will not only reduce its effectiveness in cleaning teeth but also damage your gums. At the same time, a toothbrush that has been used for too long will still retain a lot of bacteria, so you must remember to change your toothbrush once a month.

You shouldn't stick to the same toothpaste. Because long-term use of the same toothpaste can easily cause the bacteria in the mouth to develop drug resistance, that is, this toothpaste will be ineffective against them. Therefore, every time you run out of toothpaste, it is best to switch to another brand of toothpaste. By using several toothpastes alternately, the bacteria in your mouth will be eliminated.
