What ointment to use for anal fissure

What ointment to use for anal fissure

The anus is our back garden, which is located above our buttocks. Our daily excretion and gas discharge need to go through the anus, but the anus often has some problems. In addition to hemorrhoids, anal fissures may also occur, which are referred to as anal fissures. However, anal fissures can be treated with some medications. So what kind of ointment can be used for anal fissures?

An Tai experts explained: This situation is mostly anal fissure, anal fissure below the dentate line of the anal skin ruptures to form a prismatic fissure or ulcer, is a common anal canal disease, more prone to young and middle-aged people, if anal fissure is not treated in time, it will cause some harm.

What are the causes of anal fissure: 1. Traumatic factors: dry and hard feces or foreign objects can easily cause damage to the skin of the anal canal, which is also the basic cause of anal fissure. 2. Internal sphincter spasm factors: Due to damage to the anal canal or inflammatory stimulation, the anal sphincter is in a spasm state, causing the anal canal tension to increase. 3. Infection factors: mainly infection of the anal crypts behind the anus. The inflammation spreads to the subcutaneous part of the anal canal, causing subcutaneous abscesses and ulcers. 4. Anatomical factors: The superficial part of the external anal sphincter starts from the coccyx and extends forward to the back of the anus. It is divided into two bundles, which surround the two sides of the anal canal and connect to the front of the anus.

Therefore, there is space left both before and after the anus. And most of the levator ani muscles are attached to the sides of the anal canal, with less attached to the front and back. What should you do if you have anal fissure? The main hazards of anal fissure are as follows: 1. Constipation: Long-term constipation will cause feces to remain in the intestines for a long time, and harmful substances will be absorbed by the human body, which will damage the liver, darken the complexion, and appear various spots. Constipation can also form ulcers. In severe cases, intestinal perforation may also occur. 2. Pain: Constipation and dry stools will cause the fissures to be torn repeatedly, causing severe pain. Repeated attacks will make it difficult for the fissures to heal, making the patient restless and in unbearable pain, affecting their normal work and life. 3. Others: If anal fissure is not treated in time, it will cause ulcers in the anal canal, hypertrophy of the anal papilla, sentinel hemorrhoids, etc. If it is allowed to develop, it will also form anal fistula, anal sinusitis, etc., which is clinically called "anal fissure pentad".

From the above introduction to the causes of anal fissure, we can know that the front and back of the anus are not as strong as the sides and are easily damaged. The anal canal points downward and backward, forming an angle of nearly 90 degrees with the rectal wall. Therefore, the back of the anus is under greater pressure from feces. In addition, the back of the anal canal has insufficient blood circulation, poor elasticity, and a large number of anal glands, all of which are factors that lead to anal fissures.
