The fastest way to treat uterine cold

The cause of uterine cold is closely related to our living habits. Usually liking to eat cold things, excessive weight loss, staying up late, etc. can lead to this situation. The harm of uterine cold is quite serious. Severe cases can lead to infertility, and the frequent abdominal pain is unbearable, so the solution becomes the most concerned thing. So, what are the fastest ways to treat uterine cold? Let’s take a look below.

1. Diet adjustment

In traditional Chinese medicine, women's constitution is yin, so they should not be too greedy for coolness. Even in the hot summer, women should not eat too much cold drinks, cold fruits and other cold foods. It is best to leave the food taken out of the refrigerator for a while before eating. It is best to eat some hot food before eating cold food. You should also eat more foods that replenish qi and warm the body, such as walnuts, dates, peanuts, etc. You can also eat some donkey-hide gelatin, deer antler glue, etc. to replenish blood after the menstruation ends. You can also eat some angelica, ginger and mutton soup for conditioning.

2. Keep warm

Women with cold uterus should pay attention to keeping warm on a daily basis. Women who often use air conditioning indoors in the summer are advised to wear a coat or shawl to prevent their shoulders from getting cold. Don't stay in the air-conditioned room all the time. During your break, you can go for a walk outdoors to let your pores come into contact with the natural air from the outside world. If there is cold air in your body, it can be dissipated. Also, be careful not to sit on cold chairs, such as those on the ground, stone or iron surfaces, to avoid catching a cold.

3. Brisk walking

Women with uterine cold tend to be quiet and steady, and they tend to feel tired easily when exercising too much. In fact, movement generates yang, and people with cold constitutions especially need to improve their constitution through exercise. Brisk walking is the easiest way. Walking, especially walking on cobblestone roads, can stimulate the meridians and acupoints on the soles of the feet, dredge the meridians, regulate qi and blood, improve blood circulation, and warm the whole body.

What Chinese medicine is good for uterine cold? 1. Gonghansan, which is mainly used to treat symptoms caused by uterine cold, such as lower abdominal distension, epigastric pain, dysmenorrhea, cold lower abdomen, cold limbs, pale complexion, frequent urination, tasteless mouth, and preference for spicy and dry food. It is made of cuttlebone, wine-cooked peony root, rehmannia root, processed cyperus rotundus, evodia rutaecarpa, angelica dahurica, cnidium monnieri, charcoaled mugwort, and Polygonum multiflorum. Grind all the above medicines into fine powder, mix with rice vinegar, spread on the palm of your hand (right palm), and sweat all over your body.

2. Safflower warming egg: take an egg, make a hole in it, put in 1.5g of safflower, stir well and steam until cooked. Start taking it on the second day of menstruation, take one pill a day for 9 consecutive days, then wait until the second day of the next menstruation to start taking it again, and continue taking it for 3-4 menstrual cycles. It can disperse blood stasis and warm the uterus.

3. Bird's nest porridge. Bird's nest is both nutritious and mild, and can gently regulate your body. Soak the bird's nest in clean water, wash and drain, put it into a stewing pot together with lily and snow pear (with skin), cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 45 minutes. Add honey when eating.

4. Red ginger tea: take 50 grams of brown sugar (can be increased or decreased according to personal taste), 4 slices of peeled ginger, and cook on low heat for four to five minutes. Drink it for a few days when your period comes. I usually drink it about once a week. If you persist for a long time, the symptoms of uterine cold will be alleviated.

5. Use astragalus, jujube, or angelica to soak in water or decoct it to replenish qi and regulate blood, so that both qi and blood are abundant. This is also an effective way to expel uterine cold.
