What diseases can be treated with electrothermal therapy?

Clinical treatment is divided into two categories. The first category is physical therapy, which mainly helps people treat diseases through external means. Although the name may seem unfamiliar, physical therapy is actually very common in our daily life. Massage, acupuncture, and electrotherapy are all physical therapies. The second largest category is drug treatment, which can also be seen as chemotherapy, which mainly uses drugs to drive away the disease. So, what diseases can electrotherapy treat?

Both electric heating and microwave are physical therapy treatments, which are also commonly known as physical therapy methods.

1. Clinically, infrared rays are used to treat diseases by utilizing the thermal radiation reaction of infrared rays to increase the temperature of tissues, promote capillary dilation, increase local metabolism, promote tissue regeneration and recovery, and at the same time generate heat on the skin surface to promote scab formation and skin surface repair, and it also has an analgesic effect.

2. Main diseases treated:

(1) Rheumatoid arthritis and senile degenerative diseases; (2) Eliminate fatigue; (3) Accelerate the absorption of congestion or necrotic tissue in subcutaneous or muscle tissue (e.g. after sports injury, after the bleeding stops within 24 hours after the injury, this congestion can be promoted to accelerate absorption and recovery under infrared light); (4) When the skin ulcer cannot heal, infrared baking can promote the scab formation on the surface of the skin, such as bedsores and scab formation on large areas of skin damage; (5) Joint and local neuralgia analgesia (such as intercostal neuralgia, etc.)

Generally, it has a good effect on pain or some chronic diseases. The clinician will choose the treatment method according to your specific condition.
