Hysteroscopy can be said to be a relatively new imaging technology. It is mainly used for health examinations in the uterine cavity and can also be used to treat gynecological diseases. To use hysteroscopy to examine or treat gynecological diseases, general anesthesia is generally required and the procedure can only be performed after anesthesia. However, some women may find themselves pregnant in the same month after hysteroscopy under general anesthesia, which makes women inevitably worry about the health of the baby. What should they do in this situation? Indications 1. Abnormal uterine bleeding before and after menopause; 2. Abnormal uterine cavity sonographic findings (B-ultrasound, HSG, etc.); 3. Diagnose or decide whether submucosal fibroids or endometrial polyps can be removed through the cervix; 4. To investigate the cervical and/or intrauterine factors of infertility, habitual miscarriage and pregnancy failure; 5. Oligomenorrhea or amenorrhea; 6. Locating or attempting to remove a lost intrauterine device; 7. Diagnose uterine cavity malformation and uterine cavity adhesion and try to separate them; 8. Early diagnosis of cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. Contraindications 1. Absolute contraindications Acute and subacute inflammation of the reproductive organs and pelvic infections. 2. Relative contraindications (1) Heavy uterine bleeding or menstruation; (2) Those who wish to continue the pregnancy; (3) uterine perforation repair within 6 months; (4) The uterine cavity is too narrow or the cervix is too hard to dilate; (5) Invasive cervical cancer; (6) Patients with serious heart, lung, liver, kidney and other medical diseases who cannot tolerate uterine distension operation; (7) Genital tuberculosis who has not received anti-tuberculosis treatment. It is best not to get pregnant within three months after using anesthetics, because general topical medications do not have much effect on pregnancy, so it does not matter even if you are already pregnant. It is usually recommended that starting from the first three months of pregnancy, both men and women should not drink alcohol, smoke, take medicine, or have intravenous drips, and both men and women should take folic acid tablets, with the woman taking folic acid tablets until three months into the pregnancy. |
