Second, raising the head of the bed helps reduce intraocular pressure. Changing the sleeping direction to one side can delay the course of the disease to a certain extent. When sleeping on one's side, the body should be positioned with the healthy eye below and the affected eye above. Use a softer pillow, as a hard pillow may block drainage and increase intraocular pressure. The posture of the third body can also affect intraocular pressure. For a normal person, the intraocular pressure may rise by six mmHg when changing from a sitting position to a lying position. If you stand upside down, your intraocular pressure may rise by more than ten millimeters of mercury. Therefore, if glaucoma patients do yoga, we will advise them to avoid inverted movements as much as possible. In addition, drinking a large amount of fluid (such as 500 CC) in a short period of time can increase intraocular pressure. Fourth, apply it to your eyes frequently. We must work together to take good care of our diseases in our lives and not let diseases take away our sight. Regarding glaucoma care, if you have not considered surgical treatment yet, American pupil is a good choice. It can supplement eye nutrition and expel toxins from the eyes.
