How to lighten the areola color

How to lighten the areola color

The color of the areola will gradually darken with age. During puberty, women's areola is relatively light, pink. With age, after giving birth, some women's areola will not only become darker, but may also become larger, which will affect the beauty of the breasts. If it does affect the beauty, there are certain methods to gradually lighten the areola, such as using some skin care products, laser methods, etc.

How to lighten the areola color

1. Laser areola lightening

The advantage is quick results, but the disadvantages are long wound recovery time and high cost, which depends on the size and color depth of the areola. The recovery period is about 10 to 12 days. After the scab falls off, the areola will turn pink like that of a young girl. However, depending on your physical condition, it will return to its original color in about 3 to 6 months.

Among them, laser areola lightening to restore the areola to a girl's pink color is the best effect, but attention should also be paid to postoperative care:

(1) It is normal to experience local swelling and purple-black color of the areola within 3 to 4 days after the areola is bleached. The areola wound will form a scab and fall off on its own. Before the wound heals, be careful not to get it wet, and pay attention to local hygiene and conditioning to avoid infection, and do not wear tight clothing.

(2) Due to individual differences, a small number of customers may experience varying degrees of dull or dark color after areola bleaching. This is due to pigmentation caused by physical trauma, hyperpigmentation or infection. It will gradually return to normal after a month or several months, and no treatment is required.

(3) During the recovery period of the areola, the area should not be exposed to water, and activities such as fumigation, sauna, swimming, and strenuous physical exercise are prohibited. Use cotton swabs to apply the repair agent to the wound for more than 10 days, 4 to 5 times a day, to allow the repair agent to be absorbed naturally to prevent discoloration.

2. Permanent bleaching

Tattooing can make the areola pink. Although the effect will last forever, red tattoos are difficult to remove. Once a pink nipple is tattooed, it may be difficult to remove it.

3. Choose whitening products

Applying whitening products containing arbutin and A acid to the areola has a nourishing effect, but the whitening effect is limited. In addition, for those whose areola darkens due to hormonal changes after pregnancy and childbirth, since melanin is deposited in the dermis, and whitening products are only effective in diluting the melanin in the epidermis, applying whitening skin care products on the nipples will not be effective.
