Why is my stool black and smelly?

Why is my stool black and smelly?
I believe that many people will not check their stools and will just flush them away, after all, they are quite smelly. But there are also a small number of people who will check them. Sometimes the stools are black, and they feel quite happy about it. After all, some health products or foods claim that black stools mean detoxification, which is effective and is causing waste in the body to be discharged. Sometimes people don’t take it seriously when their feces smell bad, thinking it’s a good thing. Is that really the case? And what does the color of your poop mean?

Simply speaking, there are three reasons why stools smell too bad: 1. Excessive intake of high-protein, high-nutrition food, which cannot be completely digested and absorbed by the human body, produces a large amount of indole during metabolism in the body, causing the stool to smell too bad. (Indole is a chemical waste produced in the chemical reaction process, and the odor is emitted by it.) This situation often occurs in young people. The solution is to eat a reasonable diet and not eat too much meat, chocolate and other foods.

2. Intestinal aging causes smelly stools: This situation often occurs in middle-aged and elderly people, and sometimes you can even smell a strong tar smell. However, now many young people do not pay attention to their diet, and some take diet pills that irritate the intestines for a long time, which will cause intestinal aging to occur prematurely. The solution is to have a reasonable diet and eat some natural detoxifying foods, such as black fungus. Take less drugs that irritate the intestines, and clean the intestines every once in a while. 3. People with dry stools and those who defecate only once every few days have smelly stools. The reason is that waste cannot be excreted from the body in time, accumulates in the intestines for too long, and too much waste is produced. At this time, a large amount of toxic substances adhere to the intestinal wall and are easily absorbed by the body. The solution is: eat more vegetables and fruits with high fiber, develop the habit of regular bowel movements, and have bowel movements in time.

What should I do if my stool is black and smelly?

The key is to nourish the spleen and stomach in daily life, rather than consume them. Modern people often have insufficient spleen and stomach, which requires good care. First, avoid cold and spicy food, eat more soft and easily digestible food, and eat less meat;

Second, you can pinch the spine every day, which is good for the whole body, keeps you healthy and less sick. If you have nothing to do, you can massage the Sanyinjiao and Zusanli points.

Third, porridge is the best for nourishing the stomach. Millet porridge, bean porridge, etc. are all good. Yellow beans and grains are good for the spleen and stomach.

Fourth, don’t talk during meals, rest quietly for half an hour to an hour after meals, don’t eat when you are angry, don’t watch TV, and don’t listen to the radio. These are the simplest and most effective, but also the hardest to stick to. The following three things should be done after a meal: It is advisable to enjoy music after a meal. In "Shoushibaoyuan" it is said: "The spleen likes sounds, and will move and grind food when it hears sounds." Taoist books also have the saying "The spleen will grind when it hears music." The inspiration people get from this is that soft and light music, or even a pleasant environment, can serve as a benign stimulus to regulate the body's digestion and absorption functions through the central nervous system. It is advisable to massage the abdomen after eating. After a meal, gently massage your abdomen with warm hands, from top to bottom, from left to right, or in a clockwise direction, using your palms to circle and massage. This can promote blood circulation in the abdominal cavity and enhance gastrointestinal digestion function. It is advisable to walk slowly after eating. Sun Simiao once emphasized in "Qian Jin Yi Fang": "If you walk hesitantly after eating (as if you want to walk but don't want to), you will live long." It can be seen that it is advisable to walk after eating, and the walking should be slow, which is beneficial to the digestion of food and the health of the human body. However, walking quickly after eating will damage your health and cause disease.

Fifth, in the five elements of traditional Chinese medicine, liver wood will damage spleen earth. Emotionally, anger and resentment will damage the spleen and stomach. It is also important to maintain a healthy liver, starting from the emotional level.
