How to extract sperm from a man

How to extract sperm from a man

When men undergo male examinations, they may need to extract their sperm for examination to see what the quality and quantity of the sperm are. The method of extracting sperm is relatively simple. You should go to a separate room, ejaculate through masturbation, and store the semen in a small box provided by the hospital. In this way, the semen can be collected and then corresponding examinations and diagnoses can be carried out.

How to judge sperm quality with the naked eye

1. Check the time

First of all, the quality of sperm can be judged by the time it takes for sperm to liquefy. After a normal male ejaculates sperm, it will become a jelly under the action of the seminal vesicle coagulase. After 5-30 minutes, it will become a liquid under the action of the prostate liquefaction enzyme, which is called semen liquefaction. If semen does not liquefy 30 minutes after ejaculation, this is abnormal and is called semen liquefaction.

2. Look at the color

Secondly, you can judge by the color of the sperm: the color of normal male sperm is grayish white or slightly yellow. If it appears milky white or yellow-green, there may be some inflammation. If the color of the sperm is pink or red, it is bloody semen, which is common in accessory glands and posterior urethra inflammation.

3. Look at the viscosity

Finally, the viscosity of the sperm is used to make the judgment. To check the viscosity of the sperm, a glass rod is used to touch the liquefied semen. When it is gently lifted, semen threads will be formed. If the semen is normal, the length of the semen thread should be less than 2 cm.

Whether the woman can successfully conceive depends on the quality of the man's sperm. In order to obtain high-quality sperm, you should pay attention to changing your unhealthy lifestyle, smoke and drink less, and maintain good living habits.

How to improve sperm quality

It's very simple, just supplement the sperm nutrients zinc and selenium. Zinc and selenium can resist oxidation, scavenge free radicals, antagonize harmful heavy metals, reduce the damage of key components to sperm, and improve sperm motility. Studies have shown that for adult men, zinc deficiency may lead to semen liquefaction failure, low or weak sperm, and prostatitis.

Men can improve sperm quality by supplementing with biological zinc tablets, biological protein zinc, protein selenium and protein. Zinc can improve local antibacterial ability and improve inflammation of the prostate and seminal vesicles; selenium can increase the activity of liquefaction enzyme in prostatic fluid and promote the improvement of liquefaction ability; protein can increase the protein content of the human body, increase enzyme concentration, increase enzyme activity, promote sperm production and shorten sperm liquefaction time, thereby improving semen quality.
