What to do if you have constipation during the 50th day of pregnancy

If constipation occurs in a normal person, it will make a person very upset, but if constipation occurs in a pregnant woman, it will not only affect the normal work and rest of the pregnant woman, but also directly affect the mood of the pregnant woman, which will cause great harm to the health of the baby. Moreover, the constipation situation of pregnant women in each stage of pregnancy is different. So what should pregnant women do if they are constipated at 50 days of pregnancy?

Constipation during pregnancy is most serious in the later stages of pregnancy, mainly because a large amount of progesterone is secreted during pregnancy, which can relax the uterine smooth muscle and weaken the peristalsis of the large intestine. As the uterus continues to grow and increase in weight, it presses on the large intestine, causing poor blood circulation and thus weakening the bowel function. In addition, the occurrence of constipation in pregnant women is also related to factors such as abdominal pain, lack of exercise, fear of affecting the fetus by forceful defecation, poor eating habits, mental stress, sleep quality problems, and physical differences.

If pregnant women suffer from constipation, they can alleviate it through lifestyle changes. There are the following methods:

1. Eat three meals a day normally. In particular, you must eat breakfast, avoid empty stomach, and eat more foods rich in fiber, as well as fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. Try to eat less irritating and spicy foods and drink less carbonated drinks.

2. Drink more water. If the body's water is not replenished enough, constipation will worsen, so drink at least 1,000 ml of water every day. Because of insufficient water, feces cannot be formed, and if the feces is too little, it cannot stimulate the rectum to contract, and there will be no urge to defecate. Therefore, replenishing water is an important way to relieve constipation.

3. Avoid holding back your bowel movements. You should go to the toilet as soon as you feel the urge to defecate. Because feces accumulate in the body for a long time, it not only makes defecation difficult, but also affects appetite. Pregnant women with constipation problems are advised to drink more cold boiled water or milk every day to stimulate large intestine peristalsis, or drink a glass of cold boiled water or milk immediately after getting up in the morning. These are good ways to help defecation.

4. Keep a good mood. When a pregnant woman is in a certain depressed mood, her psychology affects her physiology, which makes her prone to diseases such as constipation, and also affects the development of the fetus. Therefore, maintaining a good mood is a good way to treat constipation.
