How to quickly relieve blisters on the soles of feet

Blisters on the soles of the feet are also quite common in daily life. For example, shoes that do not fit the feet well or walking too much may cause this phenomenon. In addition, some people have flat feet, which are more likely to cause blisters on the soles of the feet. If blisters occur on the soles of the feet, you should first avoid walking too much. It is also best not to break the blisters. Once the blisters are broken, you can use iodine tincture for sterilization. You should get enough rest and wear softer shoes.

How to quickly relieve blisters on the soles of feet

Do not tear or cut the wound easily. If you treat the injured tender wound in this way, it will be very painful and may even cause inflammation. When troops march long distances, their feet often develop blisters and blood.

The specific treatment method is: prepare a small bottle of medical alcohol, and soak a sewing needle with a hair threaded on it in the alcohol. When blisters appear on your feet, take out a needle with a hair threaded through it, pierce the water (blood) blister, leave one end of the hair on one side of the blister, and after the needle pierces the blister, leave the other end of the hair on the other side of the blister. Then pick up both ends of the hair and tie them into a knot. This way, the (blood) water in the blister will flow out along the hair strands without breaking the blister. If you don't use hair strands, you will need to use a thicker needle, but it must also be sterilized. Otherwise, the needle will be too thin, and although the water will flow out of the blister, the water that flowed out will accumulate into a blister later. This is how we dealt with blisters on our feet during long camping trips when we were young. I still have a Band-Aid on it, and I can use it to reduce inflammation after the blister is broken through.

Ways to prevent blisters while hiking:

1. To prevent blisters on your feet, you must first reduce the chances of friction on your feet. Blisters on the feet are directly related to shoes. Both tight shoes and loose shoes can cause friction and cause blisters on the feet. When buying shoes, you should buy shoes suitable for sports. The shoes should be the right size. It is best to have a space of a large width in the length after putting it on. 2. When you put on new shoes, you should try walking or even running for a while. After one to two hours, find out the uncomfortable parts and add cushions at these locations. Remember not to wear new shoes that have not been "broken in" when traveling. If you wear new shoes for a long-distance hike for the first time, there is a 92% chance of getting blisters on your feet if you don't handle them properly. If you don't want your feet to get blisters, it's best to avoid wearing new shoes. 3. Socks can reduce the friction between the feet and shoes. If you are afraid of blisters on your feet, you can try wearing two pairs of socks. Try not to choose pure cotton socks. This type of material can keep the feet drier than wool or cotton, thereby reducing the chance of blisters.

5. If your feet often get blisters, you can consider applying tape or cushioning the areas where blisters often appear in advance. It is best to soak your feet in warm water before going to bed to promote local blood circulation, massage the soles of your feet, and then apply moisturizer to the protruding parts of the soles of your feet. When you are not wearing shoes, make sure to keep them dry and ventilated.
