People will encounter some diseases in their daily work and life, the most common of which is wind-heat cold. Many people do not care about some mild colds, but there are still many things to pay attention to when you have a cold. Many people want to know whether scraping can be used to treat a cold and whether it is harmful to the body. So, can scraping be used to treat wind-heat cold? First, can scraping be used to treat wind-heat colds? Scraping can vent the lung defense, adjust the body's yin and yang balance, and stimulate the body's own immune function, thereby relieving cold symptoms. It has a significant effect on improving the symptoms of fever, nasal congestion, sore throat and headache caused by wind-heat cold. The acupoints selected for scraping for wind-heat cold are mainly Dazhui, Hegu, Quchi, Chize, Waiguan and Fengchi. Dazhui: On the posterior midline of the back, in the depression below the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra Hegu: Between the first and second metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the second metacarpal bone Quchi: At the lateral end of the elbow transverse line, with the elbow bent, at the midpoint of the line connecting Chize and the lateral epicondyle of the humerus Chize: In the middle of the elbow transverse line, on the radial edge of the biceps tendon Waiguan: On the dorsal side of the forearm, on the line connecting Yangchi and the tip of the elbow, 2 inches above the dorsal transverse line of the wrist, between the ulna and radius. Fengchi: On the back of the neck, below the occipital bone, at the same level as Fengfu, in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the upper end of the trapezius muscle. Second, apply an appropriate amount of scraping oil on the areas that need scraping, and scrape the nape first, using the method of equal tonification and equal drainage. The Fengchi and Fengfu points need to be strengthened. The scraping order is to scrape the Fengchi point at the back of the head first, then the Dazhui point on the neck, then the Quchi and Chize points on the inner sides of the upper limbs, and finally the Waiguan and Hegu points. Scrape straight down from the Fengchi point for 3 inches without pausing in the middle and not using too much force. For the Dazhui point on the high bone behind the neck, apply force gently and not too hard. You can use the edge of a scraper to scrape until sha appears. Scrape two points on the inner side of the upper limb from top to bottom, and the Chize point can be scraped again. Scrape two points on the outer side of the upper limb, from top to bottom. Can scraping be used to treat wind-heat cold? After scraping, you should not use electric fans or other windy things to prevent the evil wind from entering the body through the dilated pores. Scraping therapy can cause some damage to the skin, so you need to wait for a while after each scraping, usually 5 to 7 days before doing it again. It is best to drink a cup of warm water (preferably light sugar and salt water) after scraping and rest for 15-20 minutes. After scraping, you must avoid the invasion of wind and cold. You can only take a bath after the skin pores close and return to their original state, which is usually about 12 hours. |
