What are the symptoms of a crazy person?

When we say someone is crazy it is a popular way of saying it. In fact, being crazy means collapse and mental abnormality. Most mental breakdowns are caused by mental abnormalities due to temporary inability to accept stimulation. People who suffer from mental disorders may behave abnormally, such as crying or laughing suddenly, not speaking or speaking loudly, etc. What are the specific symptoms of a mental breakdown?

The abnormalities of mentally ill patients mainly include the following aspects:

1. Personality changes.

The personality becomes different from usual, for example, being withdrawn, not wanting to see people, often being in a daze, laughing alone, being pessimistic and world-weary, being indifferent to people, having reduced interest in things, being suspicious all day long, having changeable moods, being hostile to others, losing temper for no reason or being nervous and fearful, avoiding social activities and work for a long time, etc.

2. Abnormal behavior.

Behavior changes are obvious or become incomprehensible, such as looking in the mirror for a long time, not washing the face or combing the hair all day, decreased work ability, sleeping day and night reversed, walking against the wall, dressing strangely, unwilling to do housework, getting entangled with people and things, staying in bed all day, being nosy, dropping or smashing things without reason, collecting sundries and stolen things, etc.

3. Abnormal speech.

The way and method of speaking becomes abnormal, for example, talking to oneself, making loud noises for no reason, swearing, swearing at people who do not actually exist, people who like to talk become less talkative or people who do not like to talk become more talkative, what they say is either profound and difficult to understand, or illogical, or incoherent, they like to ask ridiculous questions like why ears cannot eat, they say that someone is talking about them behind their back, someone outside the window is saying bad things about them, radio and television programs are specifically targeting them, etc. In short, if a person now seems like a different person compared to the past, and is obviously different from others, then he may be suffering from a mental illness and must go to a specialized hospital for diagnosis and treatment. Otherwise, the symptoms will worsen, the difficulty of treatment will increase, the chance of relapse will increase, the length and cost of hospitalization will increase, the risk of suicide will increase, social function will decline, and mental disability will occur. Mental stimulation can cause people to suffer from mental illness. When people encounter negative emotional stimulation (medically known as life events), no matter how the event is caused, there will always be some kind of psychological pressure, which is called stress response in psychology. When life events occur, psychological stress reactions cause changes in the function of the cerebral cortex, thereby affecting the limbic system and causing pathological changes in the activity of the pituitary gland's endocrine system. In the early stages of psychological stress response, the secretion of adrenal cortex hormones, growth hormone, prolactin, etc. increases and quickly reaches a peak, then quickly drops below the normal baseline (psychological denial period) and lasts for a considerable period of time. It is this change that causes pathogenic changes in people's psychology and physiology. If this change reaches a certain extent and exceeds the body's ability to regulate, it will cause psychological imbalance, brain functional disorder, and eventually mental illness.
