Skin Cancer Treatment

Skin Cancer Treatment

There are many types of cancer, but most of us know that cancer occurs in a certain organ of the human body. Skin cancer is indeed rare, especially in China, where the incidence of skin cancer is very low. However, for white people, this disease is a malignant tumor that is very easy to develop, and it will also have a serious impact on the patient's life.

The most important thing is that the symptoms of skin cancer are not obvious in the early stages. Many skin cancer patients in the early stages treat it as eczema and dermatitis because the symptoms of the disease are very similar to those of diseases such as eczema and dermatitis. They do not realize that it is skin cancer, which delays the treatment of the disease. So what are the specific treatments for skin cancer?

1. Surgical treatment

It is suitable for all stages of skin cancer and can be used to completely remove the tumor surgically.

2. Lymph node dissection

The decision to perform selective regional lymph node dissection after surgical resection of squamous cell carcinoma is difficult. Preventive cleaning is not the most necessary option, but the best decision should be made based on the patient's age, cancer site, degree of invasiveness, and degree of differentiation of cancer cells.

3. Radiation therapy

Skin cancer, especially basal cell carcinoma, is very sensitive to radiation and moderately sensitive to squamous cell carcinoma. This method is also applicable to areas where there is or may be lymph node metastasis, as an adjuvant treatment before and after surgery.

4. Chemotherapy

It is used as a systemic adjuvant therapy for the treatment of skin cancer.

5. Physical therapy

This is the use of electrocoagulation, electrocautery, freezing or laser to burn the cancer, causing it to necrotize, fall off or vaporize.

6. Corrosion therapy

Use effective concentrated corrosive chemicals as local burns or smears.

The above are all treatments for skin cancer. Because the disease is a superficial malignant tumor, it is relatively convenient to treat, and there are relatively many treatment methods. If the patient can discover it in time and take treatment measures, the disease can still be well controlled and is more effective in preventing the spread of cancer cells.
