What is the best time to go to bed every night?

Going to bed on time and getting up early is the best way to maintain health. The pace of work and life in today's society is relatively fast. Some people are under great pressure and often go to bed late and get up early. Their lives are irregular, which is very harmful to health. Generally speaking, it is best to go to bed around ten o'clock every night and get up around six o'clock every morning. This is more in line with the human body's biological clock.

What is the best time to go to bed every night?

“Work at sunrise and rest at sunset”, which means that our body will function according to the laws of nature, and the various organs of the body will detoxify and repair themselves during sleep.

According to a survey and research on the optimal sleep time for people conducted by a university in London, the following data were obtained from the five-year study of thousands of people: the first place in various indicators was those who maintained a sleep time of about 7 hours; the second place was those who maintained a sleep time of about 8 hours. From the above sleep data, we can conclude that the effects of sleep time in the two different ranges of 7 and 8 hours on human cognitive abilities are mostly the same.

Therefore, once our sleep time is less than 7 hours or more than 8 hours, it will have a negative impact on our cognition. Generally, an adult should sleep for seven to eight hours. The most ideal sleeping time is from 10 pm to 6 am the next day or from 11 pm to 7 am the next day. It is best not to sleep beyond 11 pm, because at 11 o'clock, the human body enters the state of detoxification, and you need to be in a state of absolute sleep during this time period.

Habits that affect our sleep

1. Playing with mobile phones and computers before going to bed

Some people miss time while playing with their mobile phones and computers, resulting in very short sleep time; turning off the lights and looking at the mobile phone before going to bed is very harmful to the eyes, because when the space is in a dark state, only the brightness of the mobile phone screen is directly shining on the eyes, which is a very bad habit; watching some stimulating movies and doing some highly brain-intensive things before going to bed will cause brain cells to be in an excited state, making it difficult for us to fall asleep, thus affecting our physical health.

2. Eating before bed

Eating before going to bed will cause our organs to be stimulated and wake up, which will not only affect our sleep quality, but the burden on the stomach will inevitably cause other health problems if it is not resolved in time.

3. Drink tea before bed

Because tea contains caffeine and other substances in it, these substances will affect our central nerves, making people in an excited state, which will affect our sleep quality. Therefore, we should avoid drinking drinks such as strong tea and coffee before going to bed. Drinking some milk in moderation can help us sleep.

4. The environment is too noisy

Generally speaking, people must be in an absolutely quiet environment when they sleep. It is difficult for people to fall asleep in a noisy environment. What should you do if you feel very sleepy but cannot avoid the noisy environment? You can listen to some quiet light music in moderation to relieve your emotions and help yourself fall asleep. However, you should not listen to overly stimulating music, as this will not only have no effect, but will also make you feel even more irritable.
