Fluocinolone acetonide (fluocinolone acetonide)1

Fuqingshuang Cream is a powerful fluorinated glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects. It is suitable for a variety of diseases such as eczema, neurodermatitis, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, pruritus, psoriasis, lichen planus, and solar dermatitis. However, since Fu Relaxing Cream contains fluoride, it is more likely to cause adverse reactions such as capillary dilation and skin atrophy, so it is not suitable for the face.

Note: The use of hormone drugs must strictly follow the doctor's instructions. Generally, strong glucocorticoids, such as Fuqingshuang and Clobetasol (Enfu Cream), should not be used on thin and tender skin areas such as the face, neck, perineum and skin folds.

Compound dexamethasone acetate (Piyanping) 2

At present, the most common dermatitis cream on the market is the "red version", which is compound dexamethasone acetate cream. Because the ointment contains menthol and camphor, patients can experience a cool sensation after taking it, and it has anti-itching and analgesic effects. However, substances such as menthol and camphor absorb long-wave ultraviolet rays in sunlight and induce photochemical reactions. Its photochemical reaction products combine with proteins in the skin, which can cause an antigen-antibody reaction and lead to photosensitivity reactions, causing facial erythema, papules and even blisters, and producing discomfort such as burning and itching. Therefore, it is not suitable for use on the face.

Note: For facial skin lesions, do not use medicines containing photosensitive substances such as menthol and camphor to avoid aggravating the condition.

Calamine 3

Calamine is a carbonate mineral of the calcite family, smithsonite, mainly containing zinc carbonate (ZnCO3). After digging, wash, dry and remove debris. The product is a block aggregate in irregular block shape, off-white or light red in color. The surface is powdery, dull, uneven, porous and honeycomb-like. Lightweight and fragile. Odorless, slightly astringent taste. Functions and indications: Detoxification, improving eyesight, removing cataracts, absorbing dampness, relieving itching and healing ulcers. It is used for red, swollen and painful eyes, red and sore eye margins, pterygium, ulcers that do not heal, pus and fluid, eczema, and itchy skin.

Note: Except for herpetic diseases, calamine lotion should not be used on areas with dense facial hair or body hair, such as the scalp, underarms, and vulva. Calamine lotion should also be avoided from contact with mucous membranes such as eyes and mouth. Note: Shake calamine lotion thoroughly before use.
