1. During the hepatitis epidemic season or in epidemic areas, or when there are patients with acute hepatitis at home, you should be highly vigilant and take precautions at all times.

2. A small number of people have had "cold"-like symptoms before the onset of the disease.

3. Sudden feeling of fatigue, mental fatigue, weak knees, etc. without any obvious cause.

4. Sudden onset of digestive tract symptoms such as loss of appetite, aversion to oil, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea or constipation.

5. There is dull pain, distension, tingling or burning sensation in the right rib area.

6. The iris, skin, and urine are yellow or dark brown.

7. There are obvious spots on the irises of both eyes.

8. The palms are golden yellow, or the entire palm has dark red or purple spots.

9. The surface of the palm, especially the skin on the thenar and hypothenar eminences and the palmar surface of the fingertips, is congested and red.

10. There is obvious tenderness on the palm side of the second joint of the ring fingers of both hands.

11. There is a nodular protrusion in the liver point area corresponding to the two auricles. When you press this point lightly with a matchstick, the pain is more obvious than other parts.

12. The complexion is dark and dull.

13. Scattered red spots with legs (red threads) can be seen on the surface of the skin all over the body. When you gently press the center of the red spot with a pointed object, the red threads around it may disappear, and reappear after stopping the pressure.

14. The right carotid artery is distended.

15. The abdomen is swollen and the veins on the abdominal wall are clearly exposed.

16. Obvious edema of the lower limbs, even whole body edema, and scanty urination.

17. People with a history of long-term alcoholism or long-term use of certain drugs that are harmful to the liver, such as tetracycline, oral contraceptives, chlorpromazine, sulfonamides, etc., should be alert to alcoholic hepatitis or drug-induced hepatitis.

18. Patients with liver cancer may feel that the surface of the liver is uneven, nodular, and tender.

19. Severe patients often have a rotten apple-like odor in their mouths.
