Placenta previa is most dangerous in a few months

The placenta provides nutrition. Only when the mother allows her placenta to grow healthily can the fetus grow better. As the medicinal effects of the placenta have been discovered by everyone, it has now become a supplement that many people are scrambling to buy. Some people will deliberately preserve the baby's placenta and stew it for the baby when the baby is able to eat. The placenta may appear previa in the mother's body. So when is placenta previa most dangerous?

Placenta previa is an abnormal phenomenon and pregnant women should pay attention to it. So, in which months is placenta previa most dangerous?

Placenta previa is most dangerous in the following months:

Symptoms: Unprovoked, recurrent, painless vaginal bleeding in late pregnancy or during labor is the main symptom of placenta previa, which occasionally occurs around 20 weeks of pregnancy. Generally speaking, placenta previa is most dangerous in the late pregnancy (8-10 months of pregnancy). If placenta previa occurs in the late pregnancy, the doctor will decide what to do next based on the duration of pregnancy, the severity of bleeding, and the condition of you and the fetus. If you have bleeding and your blood type is Rh-negative, you should get a shot of Rh immune globulin unless the baby's father is also Rh-negative. If you are close to full term, your doctor will immediately perform a cesarean section to deliver the baby. The main hazards of placenta previa are as follows:

1. Postpartum hemorrhage: After delivery, the placental muscles in the lower part of the uterus become relaxed and weak. After the placenta attached here separates, it is difficult for the blood sinuses to close tightly, which can easily lead to postpartum hemorrhage.

2. Placenta accreta: When the uterine decidua is immature, the placental villi will implant into the uterine myometrium, forming placenta accreta. The placenta cannot be completely detached, which will cause bleeding. If necessary, the uterus needs to be removed to stop the bleeding, and blood transfusion is needed for emergency treatment.

3. Puerperal infection After suffering from this disease, the detachment surface of the placenta is very short from the external os of the cervix, and bacteria will take the opportunity to enter the detachment surface through the vagina. If the mother's resistance is low, she is likely to be infected.

4. The baby is underweight. Pregnant women with this disease may give birth to a baby with low birth weight because the baby’s development in the womb is restricted.

5. Increased premature birth and perinatal mortality. This disease can easily lead to premature birth and a high infant mortality rate. The mother will suffer from shock and the baby will die from lack of oxygen. Premature babies have poor vitality and a high postpartum mortality rate. In addition, during delivery, if the placenta is damaged and the lobules are torn, the baby will lose blood and suffocate. If you find bleeding symptoms in the SC in the late stages of pregnancy, you should see a doctor immediately to minimize the risk.
