There are many people with myopia in life. For people with myopia, most of them have not developed good and elegant habits. When they overuse their eyes, they do not know how to take a proper rest, which can easily lead to myopia. Before wearing glasses for myopia, you need to measure the degree of myopia. Only in this way can you choose glasses that suit you. So how do myopia patients measure the degree of their eyes? 1: A ruler; 2: A well-lit environment; 3: A clear photo or picture with details on it; Test steps: Place the photo on a horizontal plane at eye level, with the photo plane perpendicular to your line of sight; Adjust the distance between the photo and your eyes so that you can see all the details of the photo clearly; Record the vertical distance between the photo and the pupil of the eye at this time (in CM); Note: If testing monocular vision, cover the other eye with a small medium gray object; If both eyes are used at the same time, the combined vision of the two eyes is tested, which is generally higher than the vision of one eye. During the entire test process, the eyes should be protected from direct light, and at the same time, sufficient light should be ensured in the photo; otherwise, the test results will be inaccurate. More and more modern people are suffering from myopia, and wearing myopia glasses is the simplest method for myopic patients. If you feel a little dizzy or afraid to walk when you first put on your myopia glasses, most people may think that this is a normal reaction, and many glasses also have this instruction on them. In fact, this is not the case. This is caused by the glasses being poorly fitted. If you feel dizzy when wearing glasses, it is because the axis of astigmatism is inaccurate; if it is too bright and objects appear smaller, it is because the degree is too strong; if you feel nausea and vomiting, it is because the pupil distance is inaccurate. These phenomena often occur in people with moderate to low myopia, and well-fitting glasses generally do not cause such reactions. There is a very simple "close distance" test method to determine whether myopia glasses are well-fitted. Stretch out your finger and test it 18 cm in front of your eyes. If your eyes look natural, then look at the distance. If it also looks natural, it means that the glasses are accurate. Otherwise, it is inaccurate. The 18 cm distance refers to people under 25 years old, and the distance varies with age. Around 30 years old it is 20 to 22 cm, around 35 years old it is 22 to 25 cm, around 40 years old it is 25 to 28 cm, and over 45 years old it is 28 to 30 cm. |
