Air conditioning migraine

Air conditioning migraine

High temperatures are becoming more and more common in summer, so many people cannot live without air conditioning. However, air conditioning is still very harmful to the human body, especially for people who often suffer from headaches. If they use air conditioning frequently, it will cause migraines. This is mainly caused by excessive wind in the air-conditioned room, which is generally a dry environment. So what should you do if the air conditioner causes a migraine?

The air-conditioned room is too dry, there is insufficient fresh air ventilation, and the temperature should not be set too low. Pay attention to keeping your abdomen warm, maintain a constant and comfortable temperature, and reduce cold and heat shock to reduce illness. If you pay attention to the correct usage, there will basically be no headache.

From the perspective of comfort research, the most suitable ambient temperature for the human body is 27 degrees Celsius, and the temperature difference in heat shock that the human body can withstand is about 5 degrees Celsius (meaning entering and exiting between two different ambient temperatures, such as between indoors and outdoors), so the most appropriate setting temperature for the air conditioner at home is between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius.

Setting this temperature not only provides a comfortable environment that is neither too hot nor too cold, but also saves energy consumption, electricity and money.

It is also recommended to purchase variable frequency air conditioners, because when the set temperature is reached, the variable frequency air conditioner will reduce the frequency and power, which is the most energy-saving. The compressor does not stop and runs at the most appropriate frequency. It is quiet and energy-saving. The room temperature is stable between plus or minus 0.5 degrees C, which is the most comfortable and suitable for children and the elderly.

Therefore, the air conditioner's set temperature must not be too low, and it should not blow directly.

Also, when using it during the day, it is best to open the windows for 5 to 10 minutes every 1 to 2 hours to ensure that the indoor air is clean. It is important to use air conditioning in a healthy way.

Similarly, when operating in heating mode, the set temperature is 18~22 degrees C.

Take a hot bath

When air conditioning causes headaches, you should pay attention to controlling the air conditioning temperature. It is best to keep it at 25-18℃. At the same time, do not let your head, neck and back face the air conditioner directly, as this can easily cause headaches.

It is recommended that if you have a headache when using the air conditioner, you can take a hot bath, turn off the air conditioner, and open the windows for ventilation. This can relieve the headache symptoms to a certain extent.

Ginger and sugar water to dispel cold

When air conditioning causes headaches, you can boil ginger and brown sugar into water, which can help relieve the headaches caused by air conditioning.

Ginger and sugar water is very effective in relieving headaches caused by air conditioning.

Drink some green tea

If you get a headache from using air conditioning, you can consider drinking some hot green tea. The small amount of caffeine contained in green tea can have a certain effect in relieving headaches. In addition, hot green tea can help dispel the cold in the body and help relieve headaches.

Exercise more

Exercise can promote blood circulation in the human body and help relieve headaches. If you get a headache from using air conditioning, it is recommended to reduce the time you use the air conditioning, open windows for ventilation, keep the air circulating in the house, and do some indoor sports.
