1. What is lower limb artery blockage?

Arteriosclerosis obliterans is a vascular disease that occurs as people age. It usually occurs in adolescence, worsens, and becomes a disease in middle or old age. It affects more men than women. In the past decade or so, with the continuous improvement of people's living standards and changes in dietary structure, the incidence of arteriosclerosis obliterans has gradually increased in my country, and arteriosclerosis obliterans has become one of the main causes of death among the elderly.

Treatment of lower limb artery blockage

1. Lipid-lowering drugs

(1) Fenofibrate has lipid-lowering and anti-atherosclerotic effects. Take 100 mg each time, 3 times a day.

(2) Clofibrate mainly reduces triglycerides. Take 0.5 g each time, 3 to 4 times a day.

(3) Niacin can lower triglycerides, cholesterol and dilate blood vessels. Take 0.1-1.0g each time, 3 times a day.

2. Antiplatelet aggregation drugs

(1) Take enteric-coated aspirin orally 25 mg each time, 1 to 3 times a day.

(2) Take dipyridamole orally 50 mg each time, 2 to 3 times a day.

3. Vasodilator prostaglandin E1: It has a significant effect of dilating peripheral blood vessels and improving microcirculation. Add 100-200 μg to 500 ml of normal saline and drip intravenously once a day for 15 days as a course of treatment.

4. Intravenous Chinese medicine preparations have multiple effects such as anticoagulation, lipid-lowering, anti-inflammatory, and vasodilation.
