What are the symptoms of eye trachoma

Everyone should understand that trachoma seriously troubles patients' daily lives, and doctors currently have no perfect solution. Eye trachoma is caused by factors such as not paying attention to eye health. Everyone should change their lifestyle habits. Trachoma can make many people unable to concentrate on work or study, and has a significant impact on both eyes. In order to solve eye trachoma in time, we can go to the ophthalmology department to take targeted treatment measures. Next, what are the symptoms of trachoma?

1. Blurred blood and blood vessels: Trachoma is a relatively common disease, and it is easy to cause blood vessel dilation, diffuse lymphocyte infiltration in the conjunctival epithelium, etc. It can also cause many patients to have unclear blood vessel contours and blurred congestion symptoms, which can cause great damage to the eyes.

2. Hypertrophy of the papilla: Many patients will have rough and uneven conjunctiva, and many patients have countless small dots due to dilated capillaries and thickening of epithelial tissue, which can also cause hypertrophy of the papilla. Therefore, it is very important to understand your own condition.

3. Filtering light hyperplasia: Many patients will have green light hyperplasia and other conditions. It is mainly based on the chronic fungus of the epithelial tissue of the program, and it causes the patient's lymphocytes to aggregate. When the disease begins, small yellow-white spots will appear on the patient's conjunctival surface, which are not prominent and are mixed with hypertrophic papillae. This is an early diagnosis of trachoma.

4. Corneal pannus: Many patients will develop lesions. First, the gray half-moon-shaped blood vessels on the cornea are filled with blood, which are like blood vessels in the heart and continuously invade the patient's optic nerve cells, thereby causing some tissue reactions. It is mainly Chlamydia trachomatis that causes the patient's conjunctival pannus. Under this condition, the patient's condition is very serious, and it is very necessary to take progressive treatment measures.

5. Eye discomfort mainly refers to the symptoms of varying degrees of photophobia, tearing, and increased secretions that occur after the patient is initially infected with the microorganism Chlamydia trachomatis. In severe cases, there will also be symptoms of itching and foreign body sensation. Once these symptoms occur, the patient should pay close attention.

6. Corneal pannus occurs when the disease gradually worsens, resulting in congestion of eyelid conjunctiva blood vessels, papillary hyperplasia, and follicle formation. In severe cases, it will invade the cornea and cause corneal pannus. After this symptom appears, active pannus can be found on the cornea, and the symptoms of irritation are also quite significant. There may even be symptoms of eye pain, and small white spots will be found when the eyelids are turned over.

7. Vision loss occurs when the disease develops into the late stage. Severe scars will appear on the conjunctiva of the eyelids. When the eyelashes grow inward and form trichiasis, they will continuously rub the cornea, thus causing corneal opacity and white scars. In the late stage, there will be obvious symptoms such as entropion, trichiasis, corneal ulcers and dry eyes, which will directly affect the patient's vision.
