Treatment for Liver Fire

Pig bile and mung bean powder: 120g pig bile, 80g mung bean powder, mix well, dry and grind into powder, take 6g each time, twice a day.

Chrysanthemum porridge is made before the frost falls in autumn. Pick the chrysanthemums, remove the stems, dry them in the oven or steam them, or dry them in the shade.

Grind into powder and set aside. First, add 100ml of polished round-grained rice and water to cook porridge as usual. When the porridge is almost done, add 10-15g of chrysanthemum powder and boil it for a while.

Celery porridge: 60g fresh celery (chopped), 100g japonica rice, put in a casserole, add water and cook porridge as usual, take warm in the morning and evening every day. It should be cooked and eaten immediately and should not be stored for a long time.

Tremella and lotus seed porridge is the best choice for removing liver fire in winter. It includes 60 grams of glutinous rice, 10 grams of longan meat, 20 grams of cored lotus seeds, and 6 grams of red dates. Add 600 ml of water to the lotus seeds and glutinous rice, cook on low heat for 40 minutes, then add longan meat and red dates and simmer for another 15 minutes. Add appropriate amount of rock sugar and it is ready to eat.

Sword bean tea: 30g of sword bean root, add 3g of black tea, decoct in water and drink.

Liver fire is mostly caused by external stimuli, so it is very important to adjust your emotions and stabilize your mood. Anxiety will add fuel to the fire. Keeping a good mood will help regulate the heat in the body.

To prevent liver fire, you should avoid eating spicy, fishy, ​​greasy, sour, fried foods, as well as lamb, shrimp, fatty meat, black plums, etc., so as not to add fuel to the fire.

Recipes for reducing internal heat: Fritillaria cirrhosa, rock sugar and pear juice, wolfberry and chrysanthemum tea.

Pears are rich in sugar and vitamins, and can protect the liver and aid digestion. Chrysanthemum and wolfberry are both traditional Chinese medicines for eye protection, and are especially effective for dry eyes caused by liver fire and excessive eye use.

Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, such as cucumbers, oranges, bitter gourd, figs, pea sprouts, leeks, etc., which have a good effect of clearing heat.
