Breast pain and frequent urination means pregnancy?

There are many symptoms of pregnancy, including vomiting, drowsiness, and increased urine volume, which may cause women to mistakenly believe that breast pain and frequent urination are signs of pregnancy. In fact, in addition to pregnancy, breast pain and frequent urination may also be caused by inflammatory stimulation and mental problems. Therefore, it is recommended that female friends who have this symptom should correctly analyze the cause of their disease in order to treat it correctly.

There are many reasons for frequent urination, which may include the following:

1. Increased urine volume: Under physiological conditions, such as drinking a lot of water, the urine volume will increase due to the increase in water intake, and the number of urinations will also increase, resulting in frequent urination. Under pathological conditions, such as some patients with diabetes and diabetes insipidus, they drink a lot of water, urinate a lot, and urinate frequently.

2. Inflammatory stimulation: Acute cystitis, tuberculous cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, vulvitis, etc. can all cause frequent urination. Under the stimulation of inflammation, frequent urination, urgency and pain may occur at the same time, which is called urinary tract irritation syndrome.

3. Non-inflammatory stimulation: such as urinary stones, foreign bodies, etc.

4. Reduced bladder capacity: such as bladder space-occupying lesions, compression from the enlarged uterus during pregnancy, tuberculous bladder contracture, or large bladder stones.

5. Psychoneural urinary frequency. You need to go to the hospital for further detailed examination to clarify the cause and carry out targeted and effective treatment. Choose different treatment methods according to the different causes of frequent urination. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up.

There are six main types of breast pain in women:

Breast tenderness during puberty

It usually occurs between the ages of 9 and 13. After menarche, the swelling and pain will disappear on their own.

Premenstrual breast tenderness

Many women experience breast fullness, hardness, and tenderness before menstruation. In severe cases, the breasts will swell and hurt with the slightest vibration or collision. This is caused by increased estrogen levels in the body before menstruation, breast hyperplasia, and edema of breast tissue. The above changes may disappear after menstruation.

Breast tenderness during pregnancy

Some women experience breast tenderness and pain around day 40 of pregnancy due to the placenta and villi secreting large amounts of estrogen, progesterone and prolactin, which causes the breasts to enlarge. In severe cases, the pain may last throughout the pregnancy and does not require treatment.

Postpartum breast tenderness

Some women often experience swelling, hardening and pain in their breasts 3 to 7 days after giving birth. This is mainly due to breast lymph retention, venous congestion, interstitial edema and obstructed mammary ducts.

Breast tenderness after abortion

Some women will experience breast pain after an abortion. This is because the pregnancy is suddenly interrupted and the hormone levels in the body drop suddenly, causing the newly developed breasts to suddenly stop growing, resulting in breast lumps and breast pain.

Breast tenderness after sex

This is related to the physiological changes in the breasts during sexual intercourse. People with low libido or disharmonious sex life cannot achieve sexual satisfaction, so breast congestion and swelling are not easy to subside, or they subside incompletely. Continuous congestion will cause breast pain.

Women do not need to worry about the above symptoms. However, if the swelling and pain do not ease for a long time, or even become more severe, or if when touching the breast, if a lump with unevenness, unclear edges, and poor mobility is found, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.
