What is the reason for being thin and yellowish?

If we do not lead a regular life, our bodies will gradually become thinner, which is mainly caused by gastrointestinal indigestion. Generally speaking, people will also have a yellow face as they gradually lose weight, which not only affects people's health

It will also affect everyone's image and make them look very listless. So, what is the reason for being thin and having a yellow complexion?

If you eat a lot but still lose weight every day, have dark foreheads and a sallow complexion, then there must be something wrong with your body. People with a rosy complexion and a radiant spirit are relatively healthier. In life, many people will roughly judge their health status through similar experiences. In fact, we can also carefully observe the colors of different parts of the body and the symptoms that appear. It is easy to expose flaws from these signals.

Usually, words like "veins popping out" or "face turning green" are used to describe an angry person. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the liver can reflect a person's emotions, so people with a bluish complexion generally have a bad temper and should be careful to prevent liver disease. A cyanotic face is often caused by blood stasis and tissue hypoxia. In severe cases, severe pain or sudden death may occur.

Thin, dark face

More than one-third of patients with chronic hepatitis or cirrhosis have darker skin on their face and around their eyes than before they became ill, their faces become thinner day by day, small blood vessels can be seen on their cheeks, and their mouths and lips are dry.

This is the typical "liver disease face". This is because of decreased liver function, which leads to increased melanin production.

2. Fatigue

This is mainly due to early liver damage affecting other organs.

Due to the influence of the disease, patients will experience loss of appetite, anxiety, lack of energy, and due to abnormal liver function and other reasons, the body will easily become fatigued and the patient will feel weak all over.

3. Chronic bleeding

In cirrhosis, plasma coagulation factors decrease, heparin-like substances increase, platelets decrease and capillary permeability increases. These reasons can lead to coagulation disorders and cause chronic bleeding, such as recurrent epistaxis, gingival bleeding, conjunctival bleeding and subcutaneous bleeding.

4. Chronic diarrhea

It is caused by portal vein reflux obstruction, which leads to gastrointestinal mucosal edema and fat malabsorption. In particular, the frequency of diarrhea increases significantly after eating fatty foods.

5. Anger hurts the liver, which is the biggest taboo in treatment and recuperation of liver cirrhosis.

Patients with cirrhosis are prone to emotional changes such as irritability, anger, and fury, which stimulate the body to perceive stress responses and cause the endocrine system to detect changes. The liver has similar functions to endocrine glands and can promote the synthesis, conversion and decomposition of certain hormones. When angry, adrenaline is secreted, which stimulates liver cells to secrete GPT into the serum, causing the liver cells to be further damaged.

Patients with cirrhosis should quit drinking, or avoid drinking alcoholic beverages; eat less or no foods containing large amounts of fiber, such as celery, leeks, and bamboo shoots; avoid spicy and irritating foods, and try to avoid fried foods. If liver function is significantly reduced or there are signs of hepatic encephalopathy, protein food intake should be strictly limited. Decreased liver function and impaired fat metabolism require a low-fat diet, otherwise fatty liver is likely to develop. A diet rich in vitamins and trace elements can supplement the body's needs.

Patients with cirrhosis should develop the habit of going to bed and getting up on time, which can easily establish time conditioned reflexes, keep the "biological clock" stable, and thus get enough sleep. You should rest before ten o'clock in the evening, and it is best to have a half-hour to one-hour break at noon. Good sleep can help patients with cirrhosis gather energy and enhance their resistance to disease.
