Therefore, it is recommended to rest for more than 2 weeks before surgery.

Many patients wonder if resting for such a long time will cause the tumor to spread and metastasize, leading to the progression of the disease and ultimately delaying treatment. In fact, prostate cancer is a slowly progressive disease that has been in our bodies for a long time before diagnosis. It is only now that it has been confirmed that the mentality has changed dramatically. Moreover, there is no research report showing that the diagnosis of early prostate cancer is delayed due to waiting after puncture.

Even so, many patients still cannot accept waiting at home for 4 weeks or more than 2 weeks before receiving treatment after learning that they have cancer. In fact, we have a lot of tasks during this waiting period.
