In fact, there are many reasons for hand tremors. When people experience hand tremors, their first reaction is that they have Parkinson's disease. In fact, there are many causes of hand tremors, which can be divided into physiological and pathological ones, and the treatments are also different. Physiological hand tremors occur when one is nervous, emotionally excited, anxious, cold, etc. When the external environment changes and these adverse factors disappear, the tremors will be alleviated and disappear. Physiological tremors do not need to be treated for the time being and continue to be observed. Pathological hand tremors can be seen in many diseases. The characteristics of hand tremors in each disease are different, and the treatment methods are also different.

Common ones include: ① Hypoglycemia attack, hand tremors will disappear after blood sugar rises and generally will not persist. ② It can also be seen in hyperthyroidism, with a faster tremor frequency and smaller amplitude. Clinical diagnosis can be made with the help of thyroid function tests. If this is the cause, hand tremors will disappear after the thyroid function is well controlled. ③ Cerebellar disease can also cause hand tremors, which are characterized by more severe tremors when the hands are closer to the target, called "intention tremor". Clinically, it is also accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness and unsteady walking. When the brain disease is under control, the hand tremors will be alleviated and rarely worsen.

If hand tremors occur frequently or are signs of illness, it is recommended to see a neurology doctor. Several common diseases with hand tremor symptoms: Parkinson's disease, which generally affects middle-aged and elderly people, with an average age of onset of around 60 years old. There are also young patients under 40 years old with the onset of the disease, but they are less common. The characteristic tremor of Parkinson's disease is that the more still the patient is, the more severe the tremor becomes. For example, when standing or sitting quietly, the hands will involuntarily rub like counting money, about 3 to 4 times per second. When picking up things, the shaking symptoms are significantly reduced. Of course, there will be shaking, not no shaking. Parkinson's patients have hand tremors that are more severe when they are still.
