What should I do if my baby has hives?

Babies' skin is inherently more fragile than that of adults, and their skin is in a continuous process of improvement, so the chance of developing skin diseases is much higher at this time. Among them, urticaria is a common skin disease in babies. Adults will feel extremely itchy when suffering from urticaria, let alone children. Therefore, parents must understand some solutions for children suffering from urticaria.

Effective treatment for urticaria in children

Urticaria in children can be divided into acute and chronic. Acute urticaria is relatively easy to treat, while the treatment time of chronic urticaria needs to be extended. When a child develops urticaria, the cause should be found out first, contact with allergens should be avoided, and the medications and foods that cause allergies should be discontinued. If the child is severely itchy, calamine lotion or other medicines can be applied externally to prevent the child from scratching the skin. Other methods can also be used to distract the child's attention so that he or she does not always pay attention to the itchy skin.
