Sudden urinary incontinence

Sudden urinary incontinence

The normal discharge of urine of a normal person can be controlled by human beings. Urine is mainly composed of excess water in the human body, and urine passes through the bladder and urethra when discharged from the human body. The main function of the bladder in the human body is to control a person's normal urination function. If urinary incontinence occurs, it is very likely that there is a problem with bladder control. So what is the cause of sudden urinary incontinence?

Urinary incontinence is a condition in which urine leaks out involuntarily without control. Normal urine storage and urination are carried out under the coordination of bladder pressure and urethral pressure. Therefore, any reason that causes excessive bladder pressure or decreased urethral resistance during the storage period will cause urinary incontinence.

Urinary tract infection: For example, prostate hyperplasia in elderly men may cause urinary tract obstruction, which in turn causes cystitis. Cystitis is often caused by bacteria from the vulva moving back up the urinary tract.

Pyelonephritis: Patients who cannot hold their urine may be considered to have pyelonephritis. This type of inflammation is an infection of deep-seated organs in the body, and is therefore often accompanied by systemic inflammatory responses or manifestations of impaired renal tubular function.

Lifestyle habits and seasons: Affected by the amount of water you drink, the more you drink, the more you excrete, which may lead to frequent urination. If you are not obviously thirsty, drinking a few hundred milliliters of water may cause you to urinate after tens of minutes. Secondly, due to the influence of climatic factors, people sweat less in winter and lose less water from the body surface. The water needs to be excreted through the kidneys, so the frequency of urination may increase. In summer, people sweat more, urinate less, and urinate less frequently.

Psychological reasons: Some male friends always force themselves to go to the toilet before going to bed at night in order to avoid getting up at night. Over time, they will develop a psychological compulsive disorder and gradually cannot hold their urine.

After reading this article, we know the reasons why men can't hold their urine. We must take our men to the hospital to check the cause and let the doctor prescribe the right medicine. I hope every one of us men can be healthy.
