Will scars get bigger?

Will scars get bigger?

Scars are a common skin problem. There are many types of scars, and hypertrophic scars are one of them. If a scar proliferates, it will get bigger and bigger. But if certain methods are taken in time to treat it, this situation will not occur. Next, I will introduce to you some effective treatments for scar hyperplasia!

1. Surgical treatment

Surgical treatment of scar hyperplasia is relatively suitable for scars with larger areas. The treatment is relatively difficult and the clinical effect is generally good. There are three common methods: facial scar excision plus skin grafting, skin flap method, and simple excision and suture method.

2. Chemical peeling

For mild or superficial peels, trichloroacetic acid or alpha-hydroxy acid is used to gently remove the top layer of skin cells. For common scars, doctors usually perform trichloroacetic acid peeling. These peels are very effective in curing scar hyperplasia.

3. Laser skin resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing uses a carbon dioxide laser to polish the skin. It is a relatively bleeding-free skin polishing method. Compared with traditional skin resurfacing methods, it has made great progress and has a good therapeutic effect on scar hyperplasia. Laser treatment for hyperplastic scars is based on the fact that most scars are caused by excessive proliferation of fibrous connective tissue after skin trauma. It proposes the principle of unblocking meridians, decomposing and repairing subcutaneous elastic fiber tissue, comprehensively repairing and regenerating cell tissue, and using the generated collagen to infiltrate and replace scar tissue. It has a good effect in treating scars.

4. Ultra-high frequency laser scar removal method

Ultra-high frequency laser scar removal is a minimally invasive treatment of the skin using ultra-high frequency technology. It combines the advantages of surgical excision, laser, freezing, drug corrosion and other methods to achieve perfect treatment of skin scars.

5. Microcrystalline grinding

Microdermabrasion for scar removal is a minimally invasive skin beauty treatment. By spraying sterile tiny microcrystalline particles onto the surface of the treatment area, the aged and damaged skin cells are loosened and shed. At the same time, by stimulating the skin's germinal layer to absorb oxygen and promote blood circulation, the production of collagen and elastin is promoted. Combined with corresponding skin care treatments, the skin becomes delicate, smooth, clear and natural, with elasticity and luster.
