Early symptoms of AIDS in men

AIDS is a very scary disease. There is no good treatment for this disease. Although there are some treatments for this disease, it cannot be cured for serious patients. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent this disease so as to avoid it and allow oneself to develop healthily. What are the early symptoms of male AIDS?

So what are the early symptoms of male AIDS? Many men don’t know much about it. And after the disease occurs, there are also obvious symptoms. I would like to introduce them below so that men can have some understanding of this disease.

Early symptoms of AIDS in men:

AIDS is highly contagious. The early symptoms of AIDS in men are that many people infected with the HIV virus do not have any conscious symptoms during the incubation period. Some people may experience fever, dizziness, weakness, sore throat, joint pain, rash, swollen superficial lymph nodes throughout the body and other "cold"-like symptoms in the early stages of infection. Some people may also have diarrhea. This symptom usually disappears after 1-2 weeks, after which the patient enters an asymptomatic latent period. During the long incubation period, although the infected person does not experience the early symptoms of AIDS and looks the same as a normal person, the whole body's immune system continues to be damaged by the HIV. When the immune system can no longer maintain the minimum defense capability, a variety of pathogenic microorganisms that do not cause disease in normal people will cause conditional infections in the patient, causing lesions and symptoms in the brain, lungs, gastrointestinal tract and other parts of the body. Some malignant tumors also occur because the patient's resistance is extremely low. These are the early symptoms of AIDS in men.

The main early symptoms of AIDS in men are:

1. Continuous low-grade fever (93%)

2. Fatigue (90%)

3. Unexplained laryngitis (70%)

4. Sudden weight loss of more than 10% (70%)

5. Headache (60%)

6. Nausea (60%)

7. Muscle and joint pain (60%)

8. Night sweats (50%)

9. Persistent diarrhea (50%)

10. Rash (40%)

The acute infection phase usually occurs 2-6 weeks after infection. Fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, sore throat, rash, and swollen lymph nodes all over the body are mainly manifested as flu-like symptoms. Some are like mononucleosis. 10% develop meningitis symptoms, with an increase in mononuclear cells and moderate increase in protein in the cerebrospinal fluid. Some patients have mild symptoms during this period and are often easily ignored. It usually lasts for 3-14 days, and then most patients enter a symptom-free period, while some patients continue to have fever, swollen lymph nodes, and weight loss. At this time, the blood picture is generally normal, or the blood cell count is slightly increased and the lymphocyte count is decreased. HIV antigen may be found in the blood, but the time for serum HIV antibody positivity to appear is delayed, generally 2-8 weeks after blood transfusion infection and 2-3 months after sexual intercourse infection.

The process from human infection with HIV to development of AIDS can be divided into four clinical stages, but not everyone infected with HIV will necessarily experience the four clinical stages. Some people (60%-70%) do not show symptoms in the early stages of HIV infection, that is, they are asymptomatic carriers. 25%-30% of people will develop AIDS-related syndrome (ARC) within 3-5 years, and then about 10%-25% will develop typical AIDS. Within about 10 years, 50%-75% of people will develop AIDS.

It is important to note that the early symptoms of male AIDS are not specific. The appearance of early symptoms of male AIDS does not mean that the person is infected with AIDS, and other causes cannot be ruled out. If you engage in unsafe behavior, you need to go to an AIDS testing agency or use AIDS test strips for AIDS testing, and use the test results as the diagnostic standard for AIDS.

Through the above introduction, we have a good understanding of the early symptoms of AIDS in men. Therefore, when such a disease occurs, it is necessary to receive timely treatment. During the treatment process, men also need to actively cooperate, otherwise it will cause great damage to their own health. The disease will develop quickly, so men's emotions must also be kept stable.
