Shimen Point: Belongs to the Ren Meridian, also known as Dantian. Located on the anterior midline of the body, two inches below the navel. Function: Regulating qi, relieving pain, and unblocking urinary channels. Indications: Difficult urination, diarrhea, lower abdominal colic, scrotum thrusting into the lower abdomen, stranguria with gas, stranguria with blood, persistent lochia after delivery, vagina retracting into the abdomen, running pig, edema, vomiting blood, indigestion, enteritis, and endometritis.

Zhongwan: Location: 4 inches above the navel. Indications: stomachache, abdominal distension, intestinal rumbling, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, indigestion, jaundice, and weak spleen and stomach.
