What are the complications of lobar pneumonia?

With the development of science and technology, people's lives are getting better and better, but our living environment is getting worse and worse, and the air quality is seriously affected. Therefore, many people have developed respiratory tract infections, and if they are not careful, the situation will become serious and develop into lobar pneumonia. No one will run to the hospital just because they feel a little uncomfortable, which is why more and more people are suffering from this disease and doctors in hospitals are treating it more and more frequently.

Lobar pneumonia is mainly caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae. The lesions involve lung tissue in more than one lung segment and are acute inflammation characterized by diffuse fibrin exudation in the alveoli. The lesions begin in local alveoli and quickly spread to a lung segment or an entire lobe. Clinically, the onset is acute, often starting with high fever and chills, followed by chest pain, cough, rust-colored sputum, difficulty breathing, signs of pulmonary consolidation and increased peripheral blood white blood cell count. The course of the disease is about one week, the body temperature drops sharply, and the symptoms disappear. The disease mostly occurs in young and middle-aged men. Common causes of the disease include cold, fatigue or rain, etc.

prevention

1. Pay attention to preventing upper respiratory tract infections and strengthen cold-resistant exercises.

2. Avoid getting caught in the rain, catching cold, being drunk, overwork and other inducements.

3. Actively treat primary diseases, such as chronic heart and lung diseases, chronic hepatitis, diabetes and oral diseases, to prevent lobar pneumonia.

Because the weather conditions are sometimes good and sometimes bad, there are more and more particulate matter in the air. Most people who get this disease start with a respiratory infection, and no one would have thought that there would be such consequences. Therefore, everyone should pay attention to maintaining hygiene and health in their daily life. We can’t control the air, but we should at least pay attention to our daily life patterns. Take your health into consideration and further protect your health.
