Chrysanthemum is pungent, sweet, bitter and slightly cold in nature. It enters the lung and liver meridians. Efficacy: Disperses wind-heat, soothes the liver and improves eyesight, clears away heat and detoxifies. It is used for wind-heat cold, fever and headache, red and blurred eyes, liver and kidney deficiency, dark and blurred eyes, dizziness and convulsions, and treats hyperactivity of liver yang, headache and dizziness. It is good at dispersing wind and heat, clearing the liver and purging fire, and can also benefit yin and improve eyesight. Therefore, it can be used to treat wind-heat in the liver meridian, or red and swollen eyes caused by liver fire, and it has the effect of dispersing wind, clearing the liver and improving eyesight; it clears heat and detoxifies, and is especially good at resolving carbuncle poison, so it can be used to treat carbuncle swelling and poison.

Put 10 grams of chrysanthemum and 10 grams of sugar in a teacup, pour in boiling water to cover and soak for a while, then you can drink it. It has the effects of dispersing wind-heat, clearing the liver and improving eyesight, and detoxifying. It can be used to prevent and treat wind-heat colds, headaches, dizziness, red and swollen eyes, and other diseases. The flavonoids contained in it can dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Therefore, chrysanthemum tea is more suitable for patients with hypertension. Long-term drinking will have a mild and lasting blood pressure-lowering effect. When making chrysanthemum tea, it is best to use a transparent glass cup, put four or five chrysanthemums in it each time, and then brew it with boiling water. If there are many people drinking, you can use a transparent teapot, put a small handful of tea at a time, pour in boiling water and soak for 2-3 minutes, and then pour the tea into each person's transparent glass.
