People with insufficient Qi and blood will definitely show symptoms in this area

The cold weather made many people shiver in their hands and feet, and even wearing expensive down jackets was of no help. However, there is another type of people who perform even worse. Not only are their limbs, including their hands and feet, cold, but their spirits are often in a state of listlessness. They speak weakly and without any energy. Most people may think that this is caused by the cold climate, and that as long as they can survive the winter, their body and mind will be restored to a full and healthy state. However, this is a very wrong understanding.

In fact, these symptoms are all caused by insufficient qi and blood. The so-called qi and blood are concepts proposed by traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that Qi is a substance with extremely strong vitality that runs in the human body, representing the Qi of the five internal organs and meridians. Blood is the blood that flows in the meridians throughout the body. When the blood is abundant, the body is healthy and the complexion is rosy.

Traditional Chinese medicine refers to qi deficiency and blood deficiency as qi and blood deficiency. Once a person has insufficient qi and blood, it will cause a series of negative symptoms. These symptoms will mainly manifest themselves in various parts of the body. As long as we are attentive, we can understand the fullness of our body's qi and blood in time.

1. Look at the eyes

Looking at the eyes actually means paying attention to whether your eyes are clear and sharp. When everyone is born, they have a pair of clear and black eyes. The eyes in that state are actually the healthiest. However, as the body develops and living habits change, a person's eyes will gradually change. Especially for those who suffer from insufficient qi and blood, this change will be more obvious.

Everyone must have heard of the phrase "old women turn yellow", which is now used to describe that women will become worthless as pearls that turn yellow with age. However, its original meaning actually refers to abnormal phenomena occurring in the eyes. "Pearl" refers to the eyeball. If the color of the white of the eye becomes turbid, yellow, bloodshot, and the bags under the eyes become inexplicably large, it means that the body's qi and blood are seriously deficient; on the contrary, if the eyes are bright and clear, it means that the qi and blood are abundant.

2. Look at the ears

People often say that people with big ears are more blessed. For example, historical books record that Liu Bei had "big ears that hung down to his shoulders, and long arms that went past his knees." Although this is a bit exaggerated, it also shows that people in ancient times had done considerable research on ears.

Generally speaking, if the ears are relatively large and soft, with more flesh and less bones, and the earlobes are very full, then these characteristics can indicate that the person has sufficient Qi and blood; but if the ears are neither big nor shiny, and the earlobes are relatively thin, then this indicates insufficient Qi and blood. Traditional Chinese medicine says: "The ears are where the main meridians gather", which indirectly confirms the importance of ears. If people can take three to five minutes every day to rub their ears, their spirits will gradually improve and fatigue will slowly be eliminated.

3. Look at the hair

Hair can be said to be a very obvious feature that can reflect whether the qi and blood are full. Some people still have black hair even though they are old. In sharp contrast, some people have white hair in their twenties. In fact, this is the best proof of whether a person is deficient in qi and blood.

Traditional Chinese medicine also has the saying that "hair is the residue of blood", which means that hair grows with the nourishment of the residual qi in the blood. Only when the blood is abundant can the hair become healthier. Black, thick, smooth and beautiful hair can represent that a person has sufficient Qi and blood; on the contrary, if the hair appears dry, yellow or white, it is a sign of insufficient Qi and blood.

4. Look at the skin

A person's qi and blood condition can also be reflected through his complexion, and the quality of his complexion directly affects a person's health. If the skin of the face is white with a hint of red, and is lustrous and elastic, then it means that the Qi and blood are relatively abundant. However, if the face is sallow and listless, and has spots, blue or yellowing, then it only indicates that the Qi and blood deficiency is more serious. In daily life, we must have a full understanding of the condition of our skin so as not to fall into a state of insufficient Qi and blood without knowing it.

5. Look at sleep

Qi and blood are the basis of all life activities of the human body. Some people always feel lack of sleep or are often troubled by insomnia. In fact, these conditions are caused by insufficient Qi and blood. Many of my friends have good sleep quality. They can often sleep until the sun shines on their buttocks. They fall asleep quickly and have high sleep quality. This situation indicates that the body's qi and blood are relatively sufficient; however, some people always find it difficult to fall asleep, have many dreams and wake up easily, and even snore, which means that the qi and blood are deficient.

Now, everyone knows how to judge the condition of qi and blood by observing various parts of the body. Although Qi and blood are a concept in traditional Chinese medicine, they do affect our physical health. Therefore, in our daily lives, we must pay more attention to these specific parts to avoid threats to our health.
