Many people have experienced big eye bags. Usually it is due to lack of sleep on the first day, coupled with not getting enough rest, which will cause the eye bags to be particularly large. In fact, it is not the case. Some people sleep very well, but still have eye bags. Eye bags are mainly caused by sagging due to loose skin, and some may also be caused by edema. Therefore, there are different types of eye bags, which need to be reasonably understood. 1. It is generally believed that its formation is related to the following factors. (1) The elasticity of the lower eyelid skin decreases, causing it to sag. (2) The orbicularis oculi muscle of the lower eyelid undergoes degenerative changes, with reduced elasticity, relaxation and atrophy. (3) The orbital septum degenerates and relaxes, and its supporting force weakens. (4) Degeneration and displacement of orbital fat or excessive hyperplasia of orbital fat. 2. Genetic cause theory: Some young people also have bags under the lower eyelids, which is mostly related to family genetic factors. In addition, some people, especially young people, have a horizontal bulge in front of the tarsal plate just below the eyelid margin, which is more obvious when smiling, making the lower eyelid look bloated. This sign is caused by local hypertrophy or relaxation of the orbicularis oculi muscle of the lower eyelid, without relaxation of the skin orbital septum and bulging and displacement of orbital fat. Some scholars call it muscular eye bags, while others believe that this form cannot be regarded as a true eye bag, but a pseudo eye bag. 3. Classification of eye bags Simple skin sagging type: The main manifestations are simple skin sagging and increased wrinkles; Orbital septum fat herniation type: There is no increase in fat, but the tissue is relaxed and the tension is reduced, resulting in orbital fat herniation; Orbital fat hyperplasia type: orbital fat increases, and the skin and orbicularis oculi muscle are relaxed; Simple orbicularis oculi muscle hypertrophy: the orbicularis oculi muscle is hypertrophic but the skin is not loose, which is the so-called "muscular eye bags"; Mixed type: accounts for the majority of eyelid bags, that is, the skin and orbicularis oculi muscle are weak and loose, and the orbital septum is weak and the orbital fat is bulging. It is more common in middle-aged and elderly people. After reading the above introduction, I believe everyone has a clear understanding of the causes of eye bags! Through these, it is not difficult to see that the causes of eye bags are also judged according to the specific type, so when preventing and treating eye bags, you must remember to analyze specific problems specifically! |
