Human body deficiency syndrome can be generally divided into four types: blood deficiency, qi deficiency, yang deficiency and yin deficiency. According to the different types of deficiency syndrome, appropriate tonic medicine should be selected in a targeted manner. So how do we nourish these symptoms respectively? What are Qi deficiency, blood deficiency, Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency? 1. People with Yin deficiency often have virtual fire, also known as Yin deficiency and fire, commonly known as virtual fire. The main manifestations of Yin deficiency are fear of heat, irritability, fire in the cheeks, dry mouth and sore throat, dry stool, short red or yellow urine, tongue with little saliva, hotness in the five hearts (the top of the head, the palms of both hands, and the soles of both feet), night sweats, back pain, nocturnal emission and spermatorrhea, red tongue, thin or bare tongue coating, and a thin and rapid pulse. 2. People with Yang deficiency constitution have insufficient fire power. The so-called Yang deficiency refers to insufficient Yang energy in the body, commonly known as "insufficient fire power". It is a further development of Qi deficiency, a physical state with decreased or declining functions, poor reaction ability and insufficient metabolic calories. Yang deficiency is generally characterized by spleen and kidney Yang deficiency. Clinical manifestations include fear of cold and preference for warmth, cold hands and feet, bland mouth and no thirst, preference for hot food, and abdominal pain and diarrhea after eating raw and cold food, or cold pain in the stomach, cold pain in the waist and knees, clear and long urine, loose and thin stools, plump and tender tongue, white and slippery tongue coating, and a deep pulse. 3. Qi deficiency constitution manifests itself as fatigue and weakness. Qi deficiency constitution refers to insufficient energy, lack of physical strength and energy, and feeling tired after the slightest work. The body's immune function and disease resistance are low. Common symptoms include shortness of breath, laziness to speak, low voice, fatigue, frequent spontaneous sweating, especially when moving, pale tongue with white coating, and weak pulse. 4. People with blood deficiency often have pale complexion. Blood deficiency refers to insufficient blood or decreased nourishing function of the blood, resulting in some changes. If blood deficiency cannot nourish the body, pathological changes such as dull complexion, blurred vision, numbness of the limbs, and dry skin will appear. Blood deficiency cannot be completely equated with anemia in modern medicine. People with blood deficiency often show clinical symptoms such as pale complexion, pale lips, dizziness, pale tongue, weak pulse, scanty menstruation, delayed menstruation, and even amenorrhea in women. 5. Yin and Yang deficiency refers to both Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency, and its main manifestations are fear of both cold and heat, especially fear of cold in winter and fear of heat in summer. This is a physical condition of imbalance of Yin and Yang or deficiency of Yin and Yang. Tonic should be adopted to nourish Yin and Yang, nourish Yin and warm Yang, and nourish Yin and strengthen Yang. 6. Deficiency of both Qi and blood Deficiency of both Qi and blood generally occurs in anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, after heavy hemorrhage, and in women with menorrhagia. Its main manifestations are; there are both symptoms of Qi deficiency and blood deficiency. Supplements should be used to nourish Qi and blood, nourish Qi and blood, and nourish Qi and blood at the same time. 7. Qi and Yin deficiency includes both Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency, and its main manifestations are; there are both Qi deficiency symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, and weak legs, and Yin deficiency symptoms such as fever, dry throat, and red tongue, but there are no chronic diseases. This constitution is called Qi and Yin deficiency constitution, and the tonic method should be adopted when taking tonic. That is, when taking tonic, you should consider tonifying Qi and Yin at the same time. Different body types use different dietary supplement methods: 1. Normal tonic: It can be consumed by both healthy people and patients. Can help maintain health and life: such as grains, beans, milk, fruits and vegetables. This type of food has a mild property and can be eaten by women suffering from yin deficiency, yang deficiency, qi deficiency, and blood deficiency. 2. Warming tonic: refers to food with warm nature, such as beef, mutton, eel, sweets, red dates, longan, lychee, and spicy foods such as onion, ginger, etc. Women who are afraid of cold in winter can eat this kind of food often to help warm up, improve the feeling of being afraid of cold, and thus strengthen their physical fitness. 3. Clear and nourishing: refers to foods with cold nature, such as pears, raw lotus root, celery, lily, mung bean, cucumber, turtle, snail, etc., which have the effect of clearing heat. 4. Warming and dispersing: refers to foods with spicy and hot properties, such as chili, cinnamon, mustard, coriander, and pepper. This type of food has the effect of warming the yang and dispersing cold. In the cold winter, it is often used to keep out the cold and dehumidify. |
