The harm of dermatitis, you must pay attention to these four points

Dermatitis is a common skin disease that occurs in many people. Generally speaking, after suffering from dermatitis, most people are very concerned about the harm of dermatitis. Therefore, the following article will introduce the dangers of dermatitis to everyone.

1. Unbearable pain that affects normal life

Most patients with phytodermatitis have mild reactions, just a feeling of heat, swelling, tingling, itching or tight skin in a certain part of the body. There are also a small number of patients with atopic dermatitis who have more intense symptoms, general discomfort, petechiae, blisters, or even bullae. In severe cases, skin ulcers and erosions may occur, and the blister fluid may be clear or bloody. In severe cases, there may even be chain reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache.

2. Seriously affects the appearance

If dermatitis is not treated thoroughly for a long time, it may gradually expand, seriously affecting people's appearance and even causing body dysfunction. In mild cases of cosmetic dermatitis, there is only local skin itching, a few scattered small red papules, erythema and mild swelling. In severe cases, there is local skin edema, diffuse erythema, water scars of varying sizes, and even exudative erosion. The clinical characteristics of contact dermatitis are lesions with sharp edges at the contact site. Mild cases include edema and erythema, while more severe cases include papules, lumps and even large scars. Even more severe cases may result in epidermal loosening and even necrosis.

3. Skin damage may lead to infection with other diseases

Due to long-term scratching, the skin is damaged, which can cause the skin inflammation to worsen and lead to secondary infection of other diseases. People with neurodermatitis tend to have a quick temper, so it can be regarded as neurasthenia of the skin. Neurodermatitis often occurs on the neck, but may also occur on the upper eyelids or behind the elbows. Due to itching, patients repeatedly scratch the area, causing lichenification and hypertrophy. The itching is then more severe and it is easy to get infected due to scratching, resulting in local pustules, folliculitis, and furunculosis. In severe cases, erysipelas may occur.
