Cold is a very common infectious disease in life. It can occur in any season and time period and in any age group. So what should we do if we have trachea inflammation caused by a cold?

1. Control infection: Bacterial infections are most common with Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Group A Streptococcus and Neisseria. Penicillins and quinolones can be given orally. For severe infections, cefaclor or cefuroxime can be taken orally. A new generation of macrolide antibiotics can also be taken orally. The course of antibacterial treatment is generally 7-10 days. If the condition does not improve, antibiotics should be selected based on the results of sputum bacterial culture sensitivity test.

3. Antispasmodic and antiasthmatic: Aminophylline and its sustained-release tablets, β2-receptor agonists and their sustained-release tablets can be used for treatment. Paroxysmal cough is often accompanied by varying degrees of bronchospasm. Administration of bronchodilators can improve symptoms and facilitate the clearance of sputum.

4. Quit smoking or avoid smoke stimulation.

5. Strengthen physical fitness and improve disease resistance: You can use nuclear casein, transfer factor, etc. to reduce colds and recurrence.

6. The vaccine used for injection is tracheitis vaccine, which is usually started before the outbreak season and injected subcutaneously once a week. The dose starts from 0.1ml and increases by 0.1-0.2ml each time until 0.5-1.0ml is the maintenance dose. If it is effective, it should be used for 1 to 2 years. Nuclear casein injection (culture fluid of measles virus vaccine) is injected intramuscularly or subcutaneously twice a week, 2-4 ml each time; or BCG injection is injected intramuscularly 3 times a week, 1 ml each time (containing BCG extract weighing 0.5 mg). The medicine should be used before the disease season and can be used continuously for 3 months to reduce the incidence of colds and chronic bronchitis. Biostim (glycoprotein extracted from Klebsiella pneumoniae) is used for the first treatment of 8 days, 2 mg/d, and then stopped for 3 weeks; the second treatment is 8 days, 1 mg/d, and then stopped for 3 weeks; the third treatment is 8 days, 1 mg/d, and the course of treatment is 3 months. Can prevent chronic recurrent respiratory tract infections.

7. Strengthen physical exercise to improve your quality and disease resistance: Strengthen physical exercise to improve your physical quality. You can choose medical health exercises, Tai Chi, Wu Qin Xi and other items according to your physical condition. Persisting in exercise can improve the body's disease resistance.
