The spleen and stomach are the foundation of a person's acquired constitution. After nearly three years of conditioning, I have achieved some success so far. My stools are basically formed every day, and they no longer stick to the toilet bowl. First, massage the belt meridian. The spleen is responsible for transportation and transformation. If the spleen and stomach are weak, transportation and transformation will be ineffective, causing stagnation of water and moisture in the body. Rubbing the Dai Meridian can, on the one hand, strengthen the spleen yang, and on the other hand, invigorate the yang energy of the gallbladder meridian on both sides of the belly, quickly dissolving accumulated dampness in the lower abdomen. Of course, if you feel that the force of massaging the belt meridian is not enough, you can also make a fist and knock it. By the way, this method is also very effective in treating constipation, and the effect can be said to be immediate! I have experienced this myself. Second, mountain climbing. There is a saying in "Huangdi Neijing" that goes "grain qi flows to the spleen." Please note that in traditional Chinese characters, the word "gu" (valley) is written as "谷", while the word "gu" (grain) is written as "咕" (hub). The two should not be confused! Wang Bing, a physician in the Tang Dynasty, explained this as "the stomach is empty and the spleen is unable to receive it." To put it in modern terms, mountain climbing can not only strengthen your muscles and bones and make you sweat - it's also a good way to eliminate moisture from the body. It can also help your spleen connect to the energy of heaven and earth, and the energy of the valleys. This is what our ancients called profound meaning in a few words. This short sentence contains extremely profound philosophy and coincides with the idea of harmony between man and nature in Chinese culture! Third, tiptoeing exercise. Just put your toes on the ground and lift your heels as high as you can. The stomach meridian passes between the second and third toes of the foot, and the original point of the stomach meridian is also at the joint of the toes. People with weak gastrointestinal function may wish to exercise their toes regularly. You can walk on tiptoes or you can try standing on tiptoes for ten minutes. Remember to stand on tiptoes as high as possible, so that the effect will be better! Fourth, the abdominal pushing method. The three turbidities (waste water, waste gas, and feces) in the human body can be eliminated through this method, and these three turbidities are the culprits that cause people to become sick. Therefore, the ancients often said that "the great way is simple". Once the truth is understood, it is easy to solve the problem. There are thousands of ways to solve problems, but they are only problems at the so-called "technique" level! Fifth, the kneeling method. This method can guide qi and blood downward, allowing them to flow into the stomach meridian. Therefore, it is very beneficial to improving the function of the stomach. Of course, the benefits of this exercise are far more than this. I will not go into details here. Anyway, you will know it if you practice it for a while. Sixth, pinch the spine method. In short, it is to pinch the spine, from the coccyx to the neck. You don't have to stick to the acupoints, because the two sides of the spine are where the Du Meridian and the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian pass. Pinching the spine can play a comprehensive health-care role for the body. It can strengthen the spleen and stomach, and regulate the body's Qi; it can also regulate the internal organs, dredge the meridians, and raise and lower the Qi. Seventh, the health-preserving method of swallowing saliva. Saliva is actually the best medicine for strengthening the spleen and stomach in the human body. According to traditional Chinese medicine, saliva can "moisten the five sense organs, soothe the skin, strengthen the teeth, strengthen the tendons and bones, promote blood circulation, and prolong life." Laozi of the Spring and Autumn Period believed that although elixirs are good, they are not as important as one's own body fluids. Tao Hongjing, an ancient health expert, also said: "Those who drink Yuquan can prolong their lives and get rid of all diseases." Eighth, stretching. The human liver, spleen, and kidney meridians all pass through the thighs, so stretching is very effective in stretching and regulating these three meridians. My personal feeling is that it is best to use the supine stretching method, which is more effective! |
