Why does cervical spondylosis cause dizziness?

Some patients suddenly experience dizziness without any warning signs, and no abnormalities are found when they go to the hospital for examination. It is only after investigation that they find out that the key cause is cervical spondylosis. So, why does cervical spondylosis cause dizziness?

1. Cervical spondylosis affects the neck muscles: Because cervical spondylosis affects the neck muscles, it causes persistent spasm and contraction of the neck muscles, which will lead to muscle blood circulation disorders, and dizziness caused by free lactic acid, serotonin, slow skin and other pathogens.

2. Cervical spondylosis directly stimulates sensitive tissues of the head: Due to direct stimulation of cervical spondylosis, the sensitive tissues of the head are compressed or pulled, causing dizziness.

3. Pathological stimulation, compression or injury: Headache caused by pathological stimulation, compression or injury to the first, second or third cervical nerves, especially in the occipital area, can also be affected by the medulla oblongata or spinal trigeminal nucleus reflex, and the pain radiates to the head.

4. Pathological stimulation or nerve compression: Since lesions can stimulate or compress the sympathetic plexus or other sympathetic nerves around the peripheral arteries, the vertebral-basilar artery system or the internal and external arteries can cause dizziness.

5. The lesion affects the pulse: Patients with pulse-type cervical spondylosis have direct involvement of blood vessels, causing dizziness due to insufficient blood supply to the vertebral-basilar artery system.

The above are the reasons why cervical spondylosis can cause dizziness symptoms, so those of you who cannot sit up should pay attention and be sure to stand up and move around regularly. Avoid cervical spondylosis from happening to yourself. Cervical spondylosis will bring a lot of trouble to our work. It not only slows down our work efficiency, but also makes our body feel uncomfortable. So what we need to do is to take more preventive measures so that we can avoid diseases.
