What to do if you have stomach acid, bloating, and nausea? You need to adjust your diet and lifestyle

Nowadays, most of us have some stomach problems to varying degrees. The most common one is excessive stomach acid, accompanied by bloating and nausea. At this time, we need timely dietary adjustments, a low-fat and low-sugar diet, and drink less carbonated beverages.

Gastric acid regulation

1. People with excessive stomach acid should eat foods containing alkaline ingredients, such as milk, blood, soy sauce, spinach, rapeseed, key cabbage and other fresh vegetables and fruits; and eat less acidic foods, such as beans, peanuts, vinegar, oily foods, etc.

2. It is advisable to eat low-fat and low-sugar foods, as high-fat and sweet foods can cause increased gastric acid secretion. Avoid consuming condiments that stimulate increased stomach acid, such as chili, coffee, mustard, etc.

3. If you have too much stomach acid, you should eat mainly pasta. Pasta can dilute stomach acid, and the alkali in it can also neutralize stomach acid. Milk, soy milk, porridge, etc. can dilute stomach acid and protect the gastric mucosa.

4. Eat on time. Snacks can stimulate the increase of gastric acid. Do not overeat to avoid irritating the gastric antrum and causing increased gastric acid secretion.

Flatulence regulation

1. Most of the bloating is caused by diet. First of all, you must change your eating habits: chew slowly when eating, and don't eat too much at one time. It is recommended to eat small and frequent meals.

2. Avoid drinking carbonated drinks and chewing gum, and it is best not to drink beverages with a straw, as these will invisibly increase gas intake.

3. Eat less foods or desserts containing fructose or sorbitol (sugar), as these are also the culprits of gas production. Bean products must be cooked until they are thoroughly cooked before eating, because beans that are too hard are not only difficult to digest but can also easily cause bloating.

Some people are particularly prone to gas or bloating after certain foods, so they must avoid certain specific foods based on past experience.

Don't sit on the sofa after a meal. Get up and walk around, wash the dishes, or take a short walk. Gentle and gentle exercise can help digestion.
