The cause of excessive stomach acid is mostly stomach disease

Excessive stomach acid is often caused by gastrointestinal diseases. If you often have stomach acid, you need to have a stomach examination as soon as possible, that is, a gastroscopy. In normal times, you can drink more black tea, eat more carrots, and have a reasonable diet.

1. The reactivity of parietal cells increases or the total number increases. Even if the total number of parietal cells is normal, the mucosa may be damaged by high gastric acid secretion. Increased reactivity or number of parietal cells

2. If the function of the duodenal mucosa to release certain hormones is impaired, it may also lead to increased secretion of gastric acid and gastrin.

3. Genetic factors - Although gastric acid secretion is not directly classified as a genetic disease, genetic factors can lead to different physical constitutions, and the levels of gastric acid secretion in different physical constitutions are inconsistent. Therefore, the influence of genetic factors on gastric acid excess cannot be ignored;

4. Gastric mucosal parietal cells are stimulated and excited for a long time, such as:

① The parasympathetic nerves are excited for a long time and continue to produce acetylcholine.

② The secretion of gastrin by gastrin cells (G cells) is too high, such as the slow response of G cells to the inhibitory effect of H+ (hydrogen ions); the increase of gastrin caused by the contact of the gastric antral mucosa with protein decomposition products and the expansion of the gastric antrum.

5. Pathological pantothenic acid: chronic gastritis, gastric or duodenal ulcer, etc. can increase gastric acid and often cause pantothenic acid;

6. Physiological pantothenic acid - When you are nervous, overly tired, or in a bad mood, the cerebral cortex will be dysfunctional and cannot properly control the nerves that secrete gastric acid, causing increased gastric acid secretion; improper diet, such as food that is too sweet, too salty, too spicy, too sour, too cold, or too hot can stimulate increased gastric acid secretion; and some whole grains, sweet potatoes, potatoes, etc. contain a lot of starch, sugar, acid, etc., which will stimulate the stomach to produce a lot of gastric acid. Moreover, the remaining sugar in foods that are difficult to digest will ferment in the gastrointestinal tract and induce pantothenic acid. In addition, certain drugs can stimulate increased gastric acid secretion.
