What to do if blood viscosity is high? One trick to solve it

Blood viscosity is very harmful to the body and can lead to diseases such as insufficient blood supply to the brain, cerebral infarction, and cerebral thrombosis. Blood viscosity will cause slow blood flow, which will affect the blood supply to important organs of the human body and cause heart disease or stroke.

1. Quick-acting diluent - water. The water lost after a night of sleep and the water consumed when digesting food are all related factors that contribute to the thickening of the blood. Drinking water scientifically can thin the blood immediately. The first thing to do when drinking water is to grasp the timing. It is best to drink 200 ml of water after getting up in the morning, before meals (1 hour before meals) and before going to bed. You should also drink water that has a good dilution effect. Salt water will promote cell dehydration and is not advisable; cold water will stimulate gastrointestinal vasoconstriction and hinder the absorption of water into the blood, so it is not suitable for drinking; purified water, because it is too "pure", its hypotonic state will cause water to enter the cells quickly, which is not ideal for diluting the blood. The ideal dilution water is boiled water or light tea at 20-25℃, whose tension and density are close to those of blood and tissue cells.

2. Eat more foods that have the function of diluting blood. Medical experts recommend the following foods that have blood-thinning functions: black fungus, onions, bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms, strawberries, pineapples, lemons, etc. that inhibit platelet aggregation and prevent thrombosis; tomatoes, red grapes, oranges, and ginger that have anticoagulant effects similar to aspirin; celery, carrots, konjac, hawthorn, seaweed, kelp, corn, sesame, etc. that have lipid-lowering effects.

3. People whose blood is too viscous should have a light diet on a daily basis, eat less high-fat and high-sugar foods, and eat more fish, fresh vegetables, fruits, beans and bean products. The functional foods that can dilute the blood recommended by the above medical experts can be consumed according to the situation. You can also take 40 mg of aspirin once a day; 100 mg of vitamin C, 3 times a day; 50 mg of pancreatic tablets, 3 times a day; 3 tablets of the Chinese patent medicine compound danshen tablets, 3 times a day. The above-mentioned drugs can improve the function of blood vessel walls, inhibit platelet aggregation and adhesion, reduce blood viscosity, thereby increasing blood flow rate and preventing thrombosis.
