What causes plum pit qi? Be alert to these reasons

Plum pit qi is a pharyngeal disease. Many factors may cause this symptom. Neurosis, hysteria, cancer phobia, and mental anxiety problems may also cause these adverse symptoms. Therefore, prevention should be taken seriously.

1. Organic causes

Mainly pharyngeal diseases, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, cysts or tumors at the root of the tongue, epiglottal cysts, etc.; diseases of adjacent organs, such as rhinitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, cervical spondylosis, carotid arteritis, esophageal diseases, gastritis, gallstones, etc.; tumors, such as early cancers of the pharynx, larynx, esophagus, and cardia; systemic factors, such as indigestion, thyroid disease, vitamin deficiency, myasthenia gravis, iron deficiency anemia, etc.

2. Non-organic causes

Mainly pharyngeal neurosis, hysteria, cancer phobia, mental anxiety and other conditions can cause pharyngeal paresthesia.

3. Pathogenesis

The pathogenesis of this disease is quite complicated. It is currently recognized as a psychosomatic disease or a psychosomatic disease. It is caused by certain local factors (including factors that are originally insignificant or non-specific) in the pharyngeal esophageal mucosa and surrounding tissues, which stimulate or irritate the glossopharyngeal and vagus nerve endings that manage visceral perception, and transmit them to the brain through nerve centers, causing certain sensations. For those who are severely afraid of cancer or who already suffer from depression, mental instability or neurosis, the feelings will be aggravated or "magnified"; the fear of cancer itself can cause excessive tension of the autonomic nervous system, affecting the disorders of visceral muscles, vascular function and glandular secretion function; the influence of various factors such as systemic metabolic and endocrine dysfunction also directly or indirectly causes disorders of visceral muscles, vascular function and glandular secretion function, and aggravates the pathological excitement of the cerebral cortex. These, together with the original local factors, stimulate the sensory nerve endings that are already in a state of hyperexcitement, thereby aggravating the abnormal sensation in the pharynx.
