What are the effects and functions of white mustard?

2. Dispersing nodules and relieving swelling: It is used for symptoms such as scrofula, phlegm nodules, and swelling of genital carbuncle. It can be mashed into a paste with equal amounts of scallion white and applied to the affected area once a day. If it is ground into powder and mixed with vinegar, it can be applied alone to treat the initial stage of swelling.

3. White mustard seeds, radish seeds, and perilla seeds all have the effects of resolving phlegm, regulating qi, and relieving asthma. However, radish seeds disperse lung qi and eliminate phlegm, perilla seeds lower lung qi and remove phlegm, and white mustard seeds warm the lungs and resolve phlegm. The three have their own main functions, with differences in similarities and similarities in differences.

4. White mustard seeds and arisaema: Both medicines go through the meridians and transform invisible phlegm. However, the former benefits the Qi and eliminates phlegm, and is suitable for those with joint discomfort, pain, and yin sores caused by cold phlegm blocking the meridians; the latter dispels wind and phlegm, and is suitable for convulsions and hemiplegia caused by wind phlegm.
