What are the effects and functions of Wide Tendon Vine?

Wide tendon vine can dispel wind and dampness, relax muscles and activate blood circulation, so it is often used in clinical treatment to solve problems such as rheumatism, bone pain, and injuries. In addition, it can also effectively help us clear water heat, lower blood pressure, and relieve symptoms of dry mouth, headache, and dizziness.

1. Kuanjinteng can dry yellow water and reduce inflammation. It is used for rheumatoid arthritis and yellow water disease: Kuanjinteng 100g, Ti Da 50g, Terminalia chebula 100g, Phyllanthus emblica (coreless) 80g, Terminalia chebula 70g. Grind into coarse powder, sieve and mix well. Take 3-5g at a time, 2-3 times a day, decocted and taken orally.

2. Radix Codonopsis pilosulae can clear blood heat and lower blood pressure; it is used for dry mouth, hoarseness, headache, dizziness, back pain, dizziness and numbness of the whole body caused by high blood pressure: 150g of Dalbergia odorifera, 120g of Tibetan lithospermum, 100g each of Lithospermum officinale, Rubia cordifolia, Honglian, Rhizoma Codonopsis pilosulae, Tibetan costusroot, and Bashaga, 200g of Rubus chinensis, and 60g of Kaempferia galanga. Grind all ten ingredients into coarse powder, sieve and mix well. Take 2-2.5g at a time, 2-3 times a day, decocted and taken orally.

3. Kuanjinteng can relieve exterior symptoms and dispel cold; it is used for colds, initial stage of fever, chills and fever, headache and joint pain: 100g each of Tibetan wood root, Terminalia chebula, Terminalia chebula hairy, and Emblica officinalis, 200g of Rubus fructus stem, 125g of Kuanjinteng, and 35g of Gajia (dried ginger or galangal). Grind into coarse powder, sieve and mix well. Take 3-5g at a time, twice a day, decocted and taken orally (Four Medical Classics, Sequel). The Seven Treasures Decoction without the three fruits (Terminalia chebula, Terminalia chebula, and Emblica emblica) is called the Four-Ingredient Cangmuxiang Decoction, which can relieve exterior symptoms and induce sweating. It is used for the initial onset of influenza and fever infectious diseases, aversion to cold, headache, and joint pain. Take 3-5g at a time, twice a day, decocted and taken orally.
