What should high school students do if they have trouble falling asleep?

High school students have difficulty falling asleep, so of course they need to pay attention to the correct methods to improve it. Because long-term poor sleep affects their mental state and learning, they need to understand some methods to promote sleep. They also need to get rid of distracting thoughts before going to bed, because it is difficult to fall asleep with worries.

(1) Lie on your back in bed, stretch your arms and legs comfortably, close your eyes, take slow, deep breaths for one minute, and imagine yourself in a paradise far away from the mundane world.

(2) Imagine that there are green hills and vast grasslands in front of you, and the breeze blows gently, making you feel an indescribable comfort. Your breathing begins to slow down rhythmically, and sometimes you feel like you are floating in the air, as light as a swallow. At this time, you begin to fall into a drowsy state.

(3) Imagine yourself lying on a beach with clear water and white sand. The sand is fine and soft. Your whole body is warm. You can hear the wonderful sound of waves hitting the shore. You bathe in the warm sunshine, forgetting all your worries and troubles. You just let the blue sky and the blue sea cleanse your body and mind. You lie peacefully in the arms of nature with your eyes closed and slowly fall asleep.

(iv) If you feel resentment building up in your chest, imagine that it is the warehouse where all your troubles are stored. Then take a deep breath, first exhale long, then exhale several times, and repeat this action over and over, assuming that your troubles also dissipate with the exhaled air.

(V) Imagine that the sun is setting in front of you, and a pleasant melody played on a flute sounds in your heart. Your mind is taken to a distant place, and your breathing becomes long and slow, as if you are slowly sinking to the bottom of the valley.

(6) Ear plugging hypnosis method: People who work night shifts often suffer from difficulty falling asleep during the day. Plug your ears with cotton balls and you will usually fall into a sound sleep within half an hour.

(VII) Sugar water hypnosis method: It is difficult for people to fall asleep when they are irritable. At this time, they can drink a glass of sugar water, which will cause a series of chemical reactions in the body, inhibiting the cerebral cortex and entering a deep sleep state.

(8) Vinegar hypnosis method: Some people are tired from the journey, but cannot fall asleep for a long time after lying down. At this time, you can pour a tablespoon of vinegar into a glass of cold boiled water before going to bed. This will not only make it easier to fall asleep, but also make you sleep soundly.
