1. Antibacterial and antiviral effects

Isatis root is effective against a variety of bacteria. The water extract has inhibitory effects on Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Octacocin, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Bacillus paratyphi, Shigella dysenteriae (Shigella, Freundli), Enterococcus, etc. The acetone extract has a similar effect and is effective against hemolytic streptococci (all using the agar microplate method). 5. Effect on leukemia
